No response from Gemma to my email requesting redacted information between BPA and PP Ltd. Been 9 days! Should I follow with an email threatening contact with ICO ?

If this is anything like a SAR they have 30 days to reply , never mind covid and Xmas !!

I think the ICO would say the same , that you have to wait the required period , chase up giving a further 7 days and exhaust every avenue , I don't believe you have done so

    Thank You.
I would have thought an acknowledgement; or is that too much to expect?

We agree , but common courtesy is dead in the unregulated world of private parking

Or she is on furlough , or ill , or on holiday like her boss !!

Email correspondence between BPA and PP Ltd received, which clearly shows my complaint to BPA being passed onto PPL to address the issue of obscured sign (Feb 2020), and PPL agreeing in Mar 2020 to arrange site visit to ensure ‘signage is clear of any obstruction’. The fact that this didn’t happen until Nov 2020, (after another complaint) is another issue; but sequence of events shows that PPL were made to take action on my complaint to BPA.

In my original complaint to BPA, I had also stated that nowhere on the site does it state that a motorist is required to ‘enter their Vehicle Registration Mark into a console’, but an ambiguous sign ‘All customers must be registered at the bar on arrival’ (on a console hidden from view). I would argue that stating have your VRM to hand and register at the bar is not the same as a printed sign clearly stating “Enter your VRM into a console”.

In one of the emails from BPA to PPL, BPA state “I am content the signage states the requirements of entering the vehicle registration into the tablet”. Actually this is WHOLLY incorrect and is assumed by BPA, because there are no sign which explicitly state this.

Have written to BWL saying I am seeking Debt advice, which should give me another 30 days, to early Feb 2021.

Would appreciate everyone’s expert views on next steps forward.

Not much you can do but wait for a court claim to be raised, then you can provide all the evidence you have acquired to a Judge for their view.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Does anyone know if there is a time-frame that Parking Charge / "Debt recovery" companies must adhere to before their solicitors begin the actual court claim malarkay?  It seems to me that the most unscrupulous ones could carry on sending out all the "Final chance to pay" letters for years, and only after a large amount of time has gone by, start court summons.  They might do this in the hope that the recipient has moved home and any forwarding has expired, allowing them to get a default judgement in their favour?  Or simply to drag out the annoyance.
Let's hope all these c*nts catch a horrible case of Covid.
