Thanks so much @haras_n0sirrah and thank you for listening to me rant on the phone and getting our other DIP in case they didn’t agree to go back on the 2 year. Honestly, I was surprised they did!!I highly recommend anyone looking for a mortgage to come to you and we will be in around 18 months!! Thanks again 💐1

Hello All
Ive never posted in a forum like this before but I am also awaiting a decision on a mortgage with Vida.
We were given our AIP on 18/09/2020
Application officially entered and £180 fee taken on 25/09/20
Valuation Instructed on 6/11/20
Valuation completed on 12/11/20
More questions asked on 17/11/20 and advised passed to senior underwriter 19/11/20.Senior underwriter asked final questions on 20/11/20 to which we responded straight away. I’m now told we have a 3 working day SLA so should get final decision by tomorrow. We are buying a new build with h2b. House is complete, we have had our new home demonstration and builders wanting to complete by 27/11/20 but will push to 30/11/20 latest.I have never been so stressed in my whole life! I feel sick. If Vida say no, the builders will remarket the house.
I’ve read through and there appears to be success stories. Has anyone been refused by Vida this late on? I think I’ve convinced myself they would have said no by now but I may just be wishful thinking. We haven’t paid for the valuation0 -
Well we were asked to complete a few questions which we did and also my partner's work to fill in a vida own form for reference and overtime to which they said they cannot do but provided a reference on their own headed paper with details etc which Vida are saying that they cannot accept. I haven't got a clue as if we don't they say there is no mortgage offer. We are pleading with his company but getting no where. I feel like its just getting no where after nearly 2 months. Stressed is not even the word atm!!0

Feeling the stress here too....
Our valuation took place last Friday. Then we had an email from solicitor with a copy of an email from sellers solicitor saying the seller is now stating the gifted deposit is now a loan and he wants a charge on the property. 100k!!! The seller is my father in law. Vida will not agree to this so unless FIL changes his mind we cannot buy the house and we are stuck living in a cold caravan with our children 😭😭0 -
We have spoken to our broker today. Everything is completely fine except my partner hasn’t been registered on the electoral role for 2 years. He only registered in 2019. Vida have said we need to provide a posted utility bill, bank or credit card statement, or tax documented which was posted 18 months ago. We have nothing. Everything we do is online and they will not accept online stuff. Has to have been posted! Broker has put a note on our file and we await a decision on Wednesday from the senior underwriter to see if they will accept us anyway.Has anyone else been in a similar position?0
