I was supposed to get an update today after my valuation was completed On the 10th. And my update was I need to wait to the 25th as they have changed their sla again. Plus they are basing their sla’s on today’s not when the application was placed sla which is really frustrating as they keep changing their story and contradicting themselves.  All I can do is wait but it’s frustrating. App was placed on 06th oct . 

Oh no! That's ridiculous. We haven't even had any update yet even if its to say the SLA has been changed again. We are so stressed out that we will lose the property.

Any updates from anyone..?

Morning all.  I had my valuation on 09/11 and still haven't heard anything  I need to complete within the next four weeks or I'll lose my deposit from the First Home Fund.  Stress levels are through the roof.  Hope everyone is hanging in there

Had our desktop valuation done on Monday. Knowing how this works, we are not expecting anything till next week. With so many valuations done, the waiting time may even be longer.

Last night we received an update which was to answer 12 queries that they were supposed to send earlier in the case but as they are behind its 32 days since its been with under writers. I understand that they are behind but they are questions about my partners deceased wife and to confirm telephone numbers and an explanation on my partners credit from the time she was taken ill. Ive done the majority of it just outstanding reference from his HR as he receives overtime every week. I feel like im slowly losing my head at the length of it all and the house is slowly out of our reach.

Hi all, we've lost all contact the past few days, our MB has said they haven't replied to his notes that he's left on our case. I'm starting to loose hope, I also check VIDA's trust pilot and I understand people will always write the bad stuff but the last few reviews really related to most of our stories on here etc. Such a stressful and difficult time

We are in a similar position to you. We have 6 weeks left to get a mortgage sorted or lose the FHF however my mortgage broker told me they can ask for the reward letter to be reissued and he didn’t think it was a problem?

Hi. Do not lose hope. There have been cases here that have had positive outcomes. Our went in September and we are still to get the offer. Things sometimes take longer, and as a specialist lender, they do more in-depth assessments. Do not despair. Your timeline is still within or even less than what some of us here have been waiting. I am sure we will all get there.

Hi all, noticed today we have been hard searched again. Search done on application date/ & yesterday. 

Update has been the adverse explanation. I’ve not got a clue what to put down.
