Know how you feel mate, in normal circumstances it is stressful. In the middle of a global pandemic, has certainly increased anxiety levels. I tend not to read reviews personally, as you cannot gauge or ascertain if applications are the same as yours. Though easier said than done.Rickydewitt said:Hi all, we've lost all contact the past few days, our MB has said they haven't replied to his notes that he's left on our case. I'm starting to loose hope, I also check VIDA's trust pilot and I understand people will always write the bad stuff but the last few reviews really related to most of our stories on here etc. Such a stressful and difficult time

Just be honest in your explanantions. They do know the file's story, so now they want your story. We were asked the same questions. Good luck.Resnik001 said:Hi all, noticed today we have been hard searched again. Search done on application date/ & yesterday.Update has been the adverse explanation. I’ve not got a clue what to put down.0 -

We are in a similar position to you. We have 6 weeks left to get a mortgage sorted or lose the FHF however my mortgage broker told me they can ask for the reward letter to be reissued and he didn’t think it was a problem?greenback said:Morning all. I had my valuation on 09/11 and still haven't heard anything
I need to complete within the next four weeks or I'll lose my deposit from the First Home Fund. Stress levels are through the roof. Hope everyone is hanging in there
Oh really?! That's so good to know! I really hope it's the case as it's added stress on top of the mortgage fiasco

Hi everyone. I am new to the thread! It’s good to hear some positive stories! Our application was submitted on 12th October, our broker asked for an adverse letter from my partner the day after then we haven’t heard anything else since. Our valuation was 2 weeks ago! Our vendors are purchasing a new build and need to exchange before Christmas but I can’t see it happening at this rate! So frustrating! I just want to know whether we will get the mortgage or not! Hate the waiting around

Welcome to the waiting place!!! We have been waiting for a bit now, but things seem to have started moving. Our app was mid-September. There are quite a good number of positive outcomes here, so that has kept us going. And it is a good sharing platform. Keep the faith. I am not sure December completion that feasible, but you never know.Sophielucia22 said:Hi everyone. I am new to the thread! Just wanted to post and let everyone know that we got the keys to our new house today! I still can't quite believe that after waiting over 7 weeks for our mortgage offer, we got our keys on our original settlement date!!
I'm posting our timeline again, as I know that helped me when we were waiting. Good luck everyone. I never really believed we would be able to get a mortgage, and now here we are! You will get there too.

Has anyone seen the new update on timescales on vidas website. I can’t make sense of it?0

I read it as 29 working days inital underwrite. It takes 1 working day to instruct valuation. Then 21 working days for final review/underwrite/offer !? 🤷♀️SarahMayhtb said:Has anyone seen the new update on timescales on vidas website. I can’t make sense of it?0
