So they're obviously dealing with yours right now then. Have you been through underwriting, I can't remember?

I said to my husband yesterday that they may want most recent payslip and bank statement or something as we sent in july/august/sept I think.
Our valuation was done at the beginning of the month and it has been with the underwriters since. Yes we had the same payslips in as you they have asked for Octobers today.

You've been through initial underwriting though haven't you? You're surely not far off from getting an offer now!!

I may send our updated ones over to the broker ready, saves the lender asking then doesn't it
Oh yes we had the initial underwriting done and we have even had the Solicitor and the estate agent send through letters as the seller was threatening to pull out. Hopefully this updated wage slip will be ok.
Good idea takes you one step in from doesn't it.
Oh my goodness. I highly doubt we are going to hear anything anytime soon then. Fingers crossed its not much longer for both of us 🤞

You may do actually as there are a couple I've seen that their application went in after ours and they have their offers so keep all crossed for you 👌👌👌
  • I am having an absolute nightmare with this. Our broker has emailed our solicitor twice asking if they can give written confirmation that our case is urgent (vendor is buying a NB and needs to exchange before Christmas) so they can escalate it to Vida but our solicitor just hasn’t replied. First email was sent a week ago! Yet another delay which is out of hands! So stressful :(

Its so frustrating when your just met with Silence. Is there anything the vendors estate agent or Builder can do?

Think they tried asking the vendors solicitor last week but I’m assuming they haven’t heard from them either as they’ve emailed our solicitors again today! So frustrating!

True!! I'm trying to have it in my head that it's going to be several weeks and then anything sooner will be a bonus 😂

Ahhh! So frustrating for you! Hope you manage to sort it soon. We would love to be in by Christmas too but I highly doubt that's going to happen!

Hi everyone, I’ve looked at the reviews on Google today and saw a review that said there application was decline due to Vida not accepting help to buy applications anymore, does anyone know if this is actually true?

I've seen someone else mention that Vida have pulled their help to buy products however their criteria online still states help to buy. If you applied for that product when it was available then I'm sure its fine however I'm no professional 🙈 have you asked your broker?
