Our valuation took place last Friday. Then we had an email from solicitor with a copy of an email from sellers solicitor saying the seller is now stating the gifted deposit is now a loan and he wants a charge on the property. 100k!!! The seller is my father in law. Vida will not agree to this so unless FIL changes his mind we cannot buy the house and we are stuck living in a cold caravan with our children 😭😭0 -

@mariesch1 oh that's good news then. Fingers crossed.
Thanks, me too!! Our broker has just emailed to say they are awaiting confirmation of the valuation report. Then the case will be passed for final offer checks 🤞 hoping that's not the 21 working days bit on Vidas website though!!0 -

So they're obviously dealing with yours right now then. Have you been through underwriting, I can't remember?
I said to my husband yesterday that they may want most recent payslip and bank statement or something as we sent in july/august/sept I think.0 -

I may send our updated ones over to the broker ready, saves the lender asking then doesn't it0 -
