Hi,rheat06 said:Hi everyone, I’ve looked at the reviews on Google today and saw a review that said there application was decline due to Vida not accepting help to buy applications anymore, does anyone know if this is actually true?
I’ve just seen this myself! I know that they stopped taking new help to buy applications on 2 year fixed terms but had continued with 5 year fix terms as that’s we were offered. It’s hard to tell in that review as there’s little other information. My broker spoke to Vida today who said ours was still in the queue 🤷🏼♀️. According to their Twitter they have removed products to concentrate on applications already in the pipeline so I can’t see them declining mortgages when they have already given them in principal for that reason alone ...well I hope so anyway 🙁0 -
We’ve asked our broker but haven’t heard back as of yet, the review said that applied in September and they were decline. Our application was put in at the start of October so slightly worried now🤦🏽♀️bell2020 said:
I've seen someone else mention that Vida have pulled their help to buy products however their criteria online still states help to buy. If you applied for that product when it was available then I'm sure its fine however I'm no professional 🙈 have you asked your broker?rheat06 said:Hi everyone, I’ve looked at the reviews on Google today and saw a review that said there application was decline due to Vida not accepting help to buy applications anymore, does anyone know if this is actually true?0 -
Just seen we have another hard check on our credit files - on Friday 20th, day of valuation!??!1

I've just read it - on trust pilot? I wouldn't worry.... we don't know the ins and outs of their application, there are so many bad reviews online but people generally only leave a review if they're angry!rheat06 said:

I’ve spoken to my mortgage broker and from the 25th Vida are not accepting new help to buy applications so any applications put in before then shouldn’t be effected. So fingers crossed 🤞🏼SarahMayhtb said:

Ah guys I’m feeling so stressed. Just reading the reviews myself! Someone was declined a mortgage on the basis of being elf employed!
We are expecting our decision tomorrow but I’m not feeling confident ☹️0 -
That’s ridiculous! I am employed but my partner is SE. Will be fuming if we get declined because of that as they have known that from the start! Good luck for tomorrow!Emeljay19 said:Ah guys I’m feeling so stressed. Just reading the reviews myself! Someone was declined a mortgage on the basis of being elf employed!

Thank you. I keep thinking there must be more to it. Surely that can’t be a valid reason for saying no.Sophielucia22 said:
