We now need to think about how we carefully manage our existing pipeline of applications to enable customers to complete their transactions before the end of the Stamp Duty Holiday and current Help to Buy scheme on 31st March 2021. Protecting service levels and giving certainty to those customers already in our pipeline has to be the right priority for us and we have therefore decided to make a number of temporary reductions to our residential product range, removing all products for new purchase applications. We will launch a new and fully invigorated product range in the New Year."
My broker has confirmed that it’s new applications onlyMy broker has said that credit checks are fine, valuation fine, affordability fine only issue is my partners address history. I’ve uploaded online bank statements but they need approving by the senior underwriter and then we will get the yes or no.I’m just sick of being told it will be tomorrow every single day!Doesn’t seem to be much news of any approvals just recently either 😫
I’m a control freak also and a serious over thinker. Can’t go another night with no sleep ☹️
We had the same thing with the address history but we passed all the underwriting so it was obviously fine. Theyve taken their times off their website too so can't even track that now ha ha!I’m honestly considering trying a different broker and seeing if I can go with a different company. We had a AIP with bluestone originally and were persuaded to go with Vida after passing qualification with the builders mortgage broker. I’m really regretting my decision now. The house we are hoping to buy is ready & we are supposed to be completing on Friday 😢
I am going to contact the fca if I get same update next week0 -

If you start again its going to be several more months. The adverse credit lenders that use human underwriters and not computerised take forever! Bluestone are just aslong i think after previously reading through the comments on here, and their rates are alot higher. We were quoted 3.79% in our AIP which I think is great for an adverse credit mortgage!0 -

That is really good. I know the bluestone rates are ridiculous.I’ve been told that I will 100% have the yes or no by tomorrow now. Although they have said this before, we will see0 -
