So sorry to hear this, hopefully your broker can have success at appeal. Really sorry my friend.Emeljay19 said:
What makes it worse is that they raised it as an issue before valuation. We sent online docs in for my partner, which they approved and booked the valuation. Then it’s been reviewed again by senior underwriter and they’ve said no purely because we have no posted documents. They approved the online stuff at the initial underwrite and now it’s an issue.bell2020 said:
Oh my goodness!!!! That's horrendous. We were asked the same questions and provided online bank statement for me & a posted letter from HMRC for my husband. This is madness 🙈 I'm so sorry, really hope they overturn their decision!Emeljay19 said:So we have just had the news we were dreading. They have declined us because we cannot provide posted address history for my partner. My broker says he is going to appeal the decision but I’m not hopeful. I’m absolutely gutted. We were supposed to have completed tomorrow 😭I’m not expecting anything to come of the appeal. I’m really heartbroken right now. We should be completing tomorrow 😭0 -
I'm no expert but I think you've got good grounds for appeal!!! How can they decline you for that? Its not good enough. Really gutted for you :-(Emeljay19 said:

oh no im so sorry! I really hope that they reconsider and go forward like you said it was raised at the beginning then proceeded so why make you wait that long to then decline!Emeljay19 said:So we have just had the news we were dreading. They have declined us because we cannot provide posted address history for my partner. My broker says he is going to appeal the decision but I’m not hopeful. No news on appeal just yet. My broker is chasing their BDM & a more senior underwriter? I’m not hopeful on the slightest but I will keep you posted with how it goes.If anyone knows of any other companies we could approach that would be helpful or any advice on how we would approach the developer to hold the plot while we approach another lender?0

Yeah I was thinking the same there seems to be a lot of us in exact same position. Valuation complete and just waiting . And every update we get is to wait longer.Resnik001 said:Anyone has any recent updates?.
No update either - valuation completed on 09/11/2020 and nothing further since then

No update here either!0

Same here no update since we handed in our updated paperwork last week as the wage slips were out of date after the length of time and we had a reduction in the price that we are paying for the property so that needs to change too.
