Yes finally valuation booked for Friday. Waiting for our local search to come back from solicitors too.. had the others back today. Love abit of progress 🙌

Hi All,

There is hope! I never in a million years thought we would receive a mortgage offer. Our offer came through at lunchtime after waiting everyday for 2 weeks saying we would receive it today!

we started the process on the 28th September. Some tips that helped us get this far, we paid for our valuation before the underwriter looked at our case,  our broker constantly complained when SLAs were not met they probably got sick of her!

Congratulations to you all with the offers I hope your in your new home soon. Weve been told today it will be COB today or tomorrow which is what we have been told everyday since the valuation came back on Nov 6th. Fingers crossed anything comes back soon

@mariesch1 I cant believe they have had you waiting this long. Your underwriting has been done hasn't it?

The underwriter is who it's been sat with since then we've now escalated by letter from estate agent,  solicitors as we're at risk of losing the property and nothing and my Mortgages advisor has now gone to the BDM.

I was supposed to get an update today after my valuation was completed On the 10th. And my update was I need to wait to the 25th as they have changed their sla again. Plus they are basing their sla’s on today’s not when the application was placed sla which is really frustrating as they keep changing their story and contradicting themselves.  All I can do is wait but it’s frustrating. App was placed on 06th oct .
