Well we had valuation completed on the 10th and checked my credit file another hard search was completed the same day . We had an initial hard search on 06th oct.  So I am hoping I will get some news next week

27 days is less than half of our current wait time. We were hoping to move in before Christmas but it's looking unlikely. 58 days now for us waiting for mortgage offer

Judging from the day  you put your application in its been more than that hasnt it? I hope you get news soon we were told yesterday that we will get a definitive answer today. How true that will be though i do not know

No, today is the 36th working day since our application was put in. We are still waiting for valuation. Don't even know when it is booked for 😭 

Fingers crossed for you. So stressful waiting isn't it

Us too.
We were told last week that they hoped we would have our offer by the end of the week. We've been told the same this week.
Our solicitor has done everything she can do until we have the offer. We're still working towards a settlement date of next Friday.

It's so stressful not knowing what's happening and I feel like I'm constantly pestering our broker, who has been fantastic all the way through. I think he must be tearing his hair out now too, poor man!

Yes as everyday this week we have been told that it is a definite answer today then tomorrow. Just had a call back and they have said that this is now not going to be today and they cant give a day for an update. My MA has now contacted my solicitor to request a letter be sent as the owners have another property to go to and want to move asap.

We have instructed our solicitor, currently waiting on the remaining searches to come back. I think its highly unlikely we will be in for Christmas. Another Christmas in our caravan then 😭 don't want to have to tell my children we won't be in the house for Christmas, we were meant to be in for last Christmas but the rain delayed the build and then Covid happened. So done with it all now!!

Valuers rang my father in law last Friday to book valuation in but he said they didn't make an appt. Not sure what that means, a week has gone by since then and we still don't know if its even booked in. He is so hard to deal with!

How frustrating. They were like that with us before instructing valuation... just delaying it constantly. Whats the point in having a time scale on the website if they're not going to stand by those times. Madness!
