Our valuation took place yesterday so now the waiting game. . Even Tho the new homes portal shows that initial underwriting passed with Vida . The broker is unaware of this .But Barratt homes contact says they would not organise the valuation themselves if not confident . Just trying to remain level headed here and not get too far ahead of myself. As it did seem very coincidental that so many people on this thread also had their valuation instructed on the 05th nov.1

Our valuation was instructed 28th October. It was back with Vida 2nd November and has been sitting waiting for review ever since. The latest update is "it's in the queue for this week". We're due to move next Friday.😥
This has been such a stressful experience.0 -

Its made me anxious that our underwriting isn't complete. However our broker said it is 🤷♀️🥴 her words were,
"So the case is fine, happy with the address ID ‘s provided and the valuation is instructed so the case is now subject to valuation.
The valuation has been instructed today. Valuers are taking much longer at the moment due to demand, they are still visiting even with covid restrictions so that has not changed anything , it is just simply the volume of cases they all have , like everyone at the moment. So moving forward finally…. Let me know when you hear re the valuation and if I hear I will of course let you know too."
Hoping she is correct and we have passed the initial underwriting 🙈😟
