@Resnik001 you don't need to do anything regarding valuation. Vida will instructed the valuers & they will get in direct contact with the seller or EA. 

Our valuation was instructed Friday and the valuer contacted our seller that same day!

Started application process on September 02. No end in sight so far, numerous requests for more information and explanations in between. Today it's 54 days and counting. No valuation ordered

I've been following this thread closely as I'm currently trying to secure a mortgage with Vida.  My situation is a bit different as I'm purchasing the family home from my ex-husband.  I'm in Scotland so also using the FHF. I just wanted to share my journey so far and to say that all the information on here has been so helpful.
01/10/2020 - DIP
19/10/2020 - FHF approved
23/10/2020 - Full application submitted
26/10/2020 - asked for proof of deposit gift
06/11/2020 - valuation instructed and adverse credit letter, proof of childcare costs
10/11/2020 - Valuation carried out

Hi everyone, we got an update today. Our MB sent us a screen shot of his portal on vida's website and the underwriter said our case is to be worked on tomorrow 11th Nov 2020
Hopefully we move forward now. Still holding our breathe tho

Personally delighted for you and yours Bell2020. Always been very helpful to me, with any queries I have had. Am spending more time on this page than with my loved ones 😂😂😂

That’s excellent mate, did you get this done quicker by calling your MB again mate. Only app was put through on the 14 October, so hopefully once valuation has went through things will hopefully come through.

Yeah, I chased him twice today and magically he had an update lol! Although just now I've been informed by my employer that I may go onto Flexible furlough, I'm not sure how that would effect the application as it's not complete furlough and I'll still be getting 90% of my salary. Anyone had any dealings with furlough and VIDA during there process?
