Was your app submitted 2 weeks ago? Been 3 weeks for us so far, valuation done and come back ok. We are hoping it will be underwritten this week coming now 🙏🏽🙏🏽JaneEyre said:
Great news!! So happy for you!bell2020 said:FINALLY!!! Just had an email from our broker to say they are happy with our case and its now subject to valuation. Valuation has been instructed today. 🤞🙌
We were hoping to have our offer today, as they've had our valuation back since Monday, but we've heard nothing. Our entry date is 2 weeks today.

Hi @Rickydewitt!Our dates are quite similar, our app was submitted the day after yours. They instructed our valuation Friday 6th just gone, but said underwriting isn’t due until 23/11/2020....it’s going to be a long wait for us 😫. Have Vida given better timescales to you?0

We actually haven’t been given a date to when it’s going to be underwritten no 😩 but the good thing is that our valuation is done so once the underwriting is done it should be straight offer. I’m going to my MB this week quite a lot haha. I think our 21 days ends this week coming. Fingers crossed!!SarahMayhtb said:Hi @Rickydewitt!Our dates are quite similar, our app was submitted the day after yours. That’s what I was hoping, having the valuation done without underwriting will at least speed it all up. Our 21 days will be this week too. I’ve been wondering if the 23rd was meant to read the 13th as that would fall in line with the 21 days!We actually haven’t been given a date to when it’s going to be underwritten no 😩 but the good thing is that our valuation is done so once the underwriting is done it should be straight offer. Yeah I was going to say it must been 13th, the 23rd would make it 6 weeks!! That can’t be right, probably an error. It’s good know someone who is on the same timescale, I will share as much as I can with everyone 😊SarahMayhtb said:

We were hoping to have our offer today, as they've had our valuation back since Monday, but we've heard nothing. Our entry date is 2 weeks today.
We submitted our application over 6 week ago (24th September). Our date of entry is supposed to be 20th November, but that doesn't seem likely now. Initially we were told underwriting was taking 7 days, then it changed to 9, then 14 etc... It eventually took 24 working days for the underwriting. Now it's a week since they received the valuation and we've heard nothing.
Our application seems to have been relatively straight forward, as our broker seems to have known everything they needed and submitted that at the start. They only came back to us for our First Home Fund award letter and an additional bank statement before they instructed the valuation. They've had the valuation back since last Monday, so not sure what the hold up is now.
I'm finding it all a bit stressful now.0 -
All I know is that we were in underwriting stage, have supplied all docs, pay slips etc. I’ve got no adverse credit, just my partner has some defaults paid off about 3 years ago. Got told it went to Valuation stage, unsure what to do - do you book that yourself?.0

Our broker dealt with our valuation. I didn't think we needed one, as we're in Scotland and I know some lenders use the Home Report, but we did.Resnik001 said:All I know is that we were in underwriting stage, have supplied all docs, pay slips etc. I’ve got no adverse credit, just my partner has some defaults paid off about 3 years ago. Underwriting for us was 30 working days 🙈
The valuation company contacted the seller Friday to book it in. No appointment was made though, not sure why 🙄🤷♀️0 -
Not sure if this helps but the timescale they post on there website I.e currently 22 days means that’s how long the case in the queue for, I know ours hasn’t been underwritten yet as my MB confirmed that, he said it’s due to be looked at this week. I thought all along it was 22 days for the whole underwriting process.Resnik001 said:All I know is that we were in underwriting stage, have supplied all docs, pay slips etc. I’ve got no adverse credit, just my partner has some defaults paid off about 3 years ago.
