we have finally moved forward - the valuation has been booked

That'll be for new cases though, not for applications already in. We were told 9 days initially.... its been 29 working days now and we are still going through initial underwriting 😂😂🙈

Oh lol, I don't know who to believe haha. We just had an update saying our valuation came report all OK and the house price was OK. Surly that's good, broker then said they are now assessing the full app.

Ours has been over 21 days now and just complete radio silence from them. I've emailed my MA as yesterday they said that they were escalating it as the seller has said they were going to pull out if I didn't have mortgage approval by end of the week.

We got ours ecallated - took 72 hrs for approval of the ecalation -then 5 days for underwriters to check now it's only just been passed for valuation - just wanted to give you a heads up and make sure you MA stresses you need it done by end of the week becuase it didn't happen for us

@Rickydewitt thats what my MB said to us anyway. The underwriting timescale is for new applicants. Good news regarding your valuation. Fingers crossed you're not far away from an offer now!!

@mariesch1 we had radio silence for 21 days. Frustrating isn't it. We were told that you can only escalate with a solicitors letter. Hopefully you get an update soon 🤞

no idea - works diffrent in scotland as it's already provided from the seller so they just need to make sure that everything is in order

Afternoon everyone,

I was quite vocal on here earlier on but quiet since we got our offer. We have now exchanged on our new build as of today with completion set for 27th November. Keep going guys, you will get there!
