  • We are currently in the underwriting process that is all I know.
  • No update from either for a few days, it’s approaching the 19 day SLA thing on their website. Fingers crossed as we go into November
Only thing we know is we are at underwriting stage, no idea at the minute how that is progressing or if they require further information.

Yes mate, on the 14 October. Last week was asked about any payment holidays & just asked if application was being looked at. Received a message saying application currently being reviewed & it’s at underwriting stage. Fingers crossed for us all.

We have been asked again today for my proof of address. This time from June 2018!?? Ridiculous 🙄 I know we have to jump through the hoops but who even keeps bills from over 2 years ago!!

I asked to have valuation booked in and was told by my broker that they don't like to book in valuations until they are happy to proceed as the valuation is non refundable if they decline after the valuation.
Thank you 😊, hopefully this is just wrapping everything up for your application & you are nearly there. Really wish you all the luck my friend.
  • Well it seems good that they’re still in dialogue. I always check my email for bills from different years, might you have been emailed a copy of something like an electricity bill?  We’ve heard nothing today so hoping for the best.
Emma are you far down the line?.

Thank you @Resnik001 - fingers crossed for you too!!
  • Yes we’ve got the offer and due to exchange this week and complete the week after. I’ve just been concerned due to last lockdown and everything being pulled. From the looks of things they have had heavy investment over the last couple of months allowing them to come back to the market,  so it may not have been wholly lockdown related and not as likely to happen again.

I asked my broker this question yesterday. She said our application won't be affected by the lockdown. During the initial lockdown they just stopped taking new applications
  • Hi All,
Our solicitors have now reached out to VIDA about getting the offer out ASAP, the sellers got in touch with their solicitors who got in touch with ours saying they need to complete by 18th December. I hope this doesn't cause anymore issues, although our MB said this could give VIDA a kick up the backside, however I think we will need to pay for the solicitors contacting VIDA. The road get's wider  :(
