Mine is with a broker called new homes mortgages llp. They have a client portal that tracks the stage of the application with their lenders .
  • Just wanted to share our experience I’ve found this thread very helpful.
    28\09\20 - full application submitted
    15\10\20 - valuation booked
    29\10\20 - valuation completed
02/11/20 - credit story, more questions ( furlough form which needed to be completed by my wife’s work, description of my job)
Our mortgage broker was told 2 working days for the underwriter to review our documents but I got our solicitor to chase and she was told 5 working days. Fingers crossed for everyone in this process.
  • well we are now back t the underwriting stage was told answer would be last week then today now told the SLA is 23 days from passed to underwriter so we will get an update on Wednesday if they can. Were getting pushed by the seller and really would of liked to have moved by Christmas really just feels like until they say yes all is on hold and you don't even like looking at new house things really :(

Ricky don’t know about you, but I’d rather not pay any more rent money if really required too.

That’s good mate, nothing my end. I have absolutely no idea about this valuation. Do I need to book it and pay for it, or it is done at vidas end.
