tastes like a fat frog ice lolly...... drunken experimenting!I haven't been asked to tell you that I'm the Board Drunk for this board. As the night wears on, my posts will become worse, with simple spelling mistakes, inane ramblings, and a blatant disregard for the truth. I have no authority to do anything, so there's no point asking or telling me. If you see me past midnight, please tell me to get my coat and order me a taxi.

Here's a thing... did you know that there is no sugar in vodka? So if you susbstitute Splenda for the sugar, it is suitable for diabetics - almost a health food in fact!!! Just found this one in my recipe scrapbook
Irish Cream
3 fresh eggs
1/2 pint single cream
5oz whiskey
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
2 -3 dessertspoons demerara sugar
5oz evaporated milk
2 tsps coffee essence (camp is good)
Whisk well and bottle. Keep refrigerated and serve chilled. Supposed to keep for 4 weeks (but never lasted that long in my house ) and makes about 1 + 1/2 pints. ) and makes about 1 + 1/2 pints.
I find that a drop of Drambuie added gives a true "Baileys" flavour! Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

That's the recipe I used to use although I seem to remember using condensed milk rather than evaporated, but then I don't think I added sugar, so basically amounts to the same thing
