I make this every year and its nicer than you know whos

    much nicer  in fact

    INGREDIENTS:

    450ml whisky
    1 400g can evaporated milk
    1 400g can condensed milk
    1 tsp instant coffee
    ½ tsp vanilla extract

put  everything together in a blender for 1 minute. Bottle and store in the fridge for about a month

Cathy - I don't drink (yukkie stuff, lol) but hubby has been known to have a wee dram of whisky. Unfortunately this means that everyone thinks he lurves whisky and he gets it for presents all the time. Decided to use some up today and made this for hubby to try and also friend who bit of a p!ss head. Thumbs up from both and had to promise to make it for bonfire do along with the mulled wine! ;D

which we then give as presents to others

  • Something for the more hardened drinkers (unfortunately that does occasionally include me- but at least it is not common!)
It's something my friends in Finland do,
Take a bottle of cheap Vodka, give about a glass of it to someone unsuspecting (to make space in the bottle), then add strong liquorice sweets to taste(they can be pastilles, all sorts, it really doesn't matter). Close the bottle, shake well and stand for as long as you need (minimum two weeks). Shake again before serving. It makes an amazingly tasty "short" to help digestion (yeah yeah) after Christmas Dinners! And conks you out fast if you're not careful.
