First sign - 'a valid disabled badge ........ must be visable at all times'! Dunces. Simon clearly too consumed with longings for VISA!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Coupon-mad said:That CPS Midlands sign is really useful, because part of your argument can be that there are conflicting signs within the retail park from two different companies, and as such, with no signs beside the disabled bay (was there a sign actually at that bay, I can't recall?) it is impossible for a consumer to have any certainty of contract.
The first pictures of VCS signs are in the Midlands Way Retail Park and is where the OP parked.
The CPS signs are in the Chettles Trade Park where Magnet are located.
The confusion occurs where VCS are using the Chettles Trade Park post code (NG7 3AG) on their PCN rather than the Midlands Way Retail Park (NG7 3NY).
If you use the Post Office post code checker, against NG7 3NY it lists Unit 1 Lidl, Unit 5 Wok & Go, Unit 7 Greggs, Unit 9 Domino's, & Unit 11 Subway, This is where the OP was parked.3 -
This sign was outside Subway at the entrance to the car park

The post code NG7 3LP refers to Block A which is the block on the other side of the road with the name Nottingham 2 down the front. The student block above the retail units is Block B.3
-
When you do a search for NG7 3NY on the Land Registry site, it returns results for each of the retail units on the Midland Way Retail Park, i.e. Unit 1 (Lidl), Unit 5 (Wok & Go), Unit 7 (Greggs), Unit 9 (Domino's), & Unit 11 (Subway).
Unit 3 does not seem to be let and I suspect it has been merged into Lidl's.4 -

Coupon-Mad there was a sign near where I parked (first picture), it was behind me and very high up, since I reversed into the bay I was unaware of it, in fact you wouldnt be able to see it if you had gone in forwards, its far too high2 -
So it can't be seen by a disabled person in a car when parking, then.
And even if it could, the words I gave you earlier explain why it's illegal to try to cause disadvantage to a consumer by attempting to rely on a 'set in stone' contractual term that offers no discretionary adjustment and deprives them of their legal right and indisputable need (Blue Badge or not) to use the reasonable adjustment of a disabled bay. And VCS knew this from the outset. There is no excuse.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
