Should have been in Russia end of March for our anniversary - received full refund except for the £350 the Visa's cost.
Next week we should have been in Crete - cancelled by Jet2 - full refund received.
September - we have cancelled with Jet2 just deposit lost (£120)
November - Vegas with Virgin - need to decide by mid August if we are going as balance due (paid £350 deposit so far) I would rather cancel, wife still hoping we can go.
We are both high risk groups but have both been working through the lockdown as both in essential jobs although wife retires in December.
Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy

Timsynths....Your trips seem to coincide with disasters can I have a full list of things you have booked please..lol
Totally! I'm used to it and now its all part of the holiday experience, I don't even bat an eyelid but flying out of Sharm in 2015 was a an experience, also coincided with easy jet (i think) 25 year anniversary so had a party atmosphere on the plane- well certainly after the first 45 mins were over......

There are some bargain holidays out there for the summer holidays for those wishing to take a punt.
I'm tempted but the sensible part of my brain is saying no, let's see how things pan out first

Due to have just under 3 weeks in Sydney towards the end of September with two internal trips during our stay. We haven’t cancelled anything; I believe we’re covered via travel insurance on flights, accomodation is all cancellable for free. Our biggest concern is that Australia still won’t allow foreign travellers into the country, which I wouldn’t be surprised at, then we may have an issue and have to claim on our insurance. Interesting times 🤔

It essentially boils down to consider taking a calculated risk and praying there are no adverse consequences.

The plan for this year was Tenerife in July, Vietnam in October and TBD for Xmas/New Year.  Tenerife has already bitten the dust but I'm thinking of rebooking it for October and then leaving Vietnam until next year. Would be nice to get away for somewhere over Christmas but I can imagine demand being super-high this year assuming the world returns to a reasonable level of normality

We are in Hong Kong. Leaving here next month. Plan was to travel overland back to the U.K. over a couple of months. Obviously that idea is in the bin. However, for understandable reasons we don’t want to go back to the UK straight away, HK is no fun in July and August so....

does anyone know a good website that outlines the current restrictions country by country? . I have found a couple but they seem not to be up to date or accurate,
