Samsung Nu 7000 series TV unable to update notification

I have tried. But I couldn't ever get it to recognise the firmware update.
3 different usb sticks were tried
It will recognise the same sticks if they have media on them, so it's not the sticks0 -

, also the filed had to be in a certain structure the way the folders were set up0 -
Two options,change tv to Sony Android lots of apps there.Get a firestick £40 hundreds of apps on there and will also give you hd on most channels.0

This is a forum people are free to make suggestions .All you are doing is continually spamming the forum that cannot help you in dealing with Samsung .The add a Firestick is just one way to add services, While you wait for Samsung to provide a remedy .

I honestly think your comment highlighted below about the Pandemic was a really cheap shot.

Some people have been campaigning about this problem since December 2018 after spending £800 on a Samsung TV. They have been asked to wait until a new update is ready. Told a new motherboard will rectify the problem, they fit an identical board so no difference. All this is to drag time out so either people will give up or warranty runs out. They know this problem is unrepairable otherwise something would have been done by now.

Our so called smart TVs are connected to the router which is also connected to our computers.Computers regularly update with security patches to counter any new virus/malware.Our TV should be able to do the same in fact Samsung's own 2018 website highlighted below tell us to keep software updated at all times. The fact they tell us they are listening and learning from customers is a joke we have been telling them for nearly 18 months the problems and they still continued selling the product.

I admit I am not very computer literate, even if it were possible to download firmware, Zip file, transfer to a USB stick, factory reset the TV , download update via USB. every time an update was available why should I have to.My TV has a big green button in the settings menu saying Auto Update and I have it turned on.I became sidetracked by the App comments, my main concern is not being able to update the TV firmware which includes security updates as first posted. I am annoyed that Samsung continue to force Apps taking up even more internal memory leaving none available for me to add my own.

Personally i think your campaign led from another web site is a very cheap shot .( you don't even qualify as a non UK purchaser )No Consumer Rights Question asked in this consumer rights section . Just a rant about Samsung that goes on and on .Now you are bordering on abusive .2
