You don't need to be referred to retail eyes just sign up. But it is nice if you can put someones name in for them to get a bit extra money.0

Well I have just received a phone call from an MS company asking me to redo an assignment because the pictures I have taken of the pizza were blurry and "the mushrooms were unidentifiable!!". The sad thing is I was not going to get paid for my previous assignment or receive reimbursement. They still asked if I could reorder another one! I was tempted to ask if I should I should bring in a professional photographer to take the photos, and a make-up artist to highlight the mushrooms! All at my own expense!  :mad:0

Not for me! DAMN my age/sex/height/marital status!
A month or so ago I signed up for a pub job on RE. Only then did I discover I was above the stipulated age so I emailed them asking if I should cancel. They were happy for me to do the job as long as I didn't mark it down for being a young venue. So I did the job, the pub was fab, the food was great and we've been back a couple of times since!!:T
I've also done one for them which says it would suit a male, and I'm female. So dont let what they say put you off! We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Very relieved to hear that the 'fraud' accusation was withdrawn, as I often work in both my maiden and married name. I suspect that Gap sometimes check the credit card number on coffee assignments to see that it's consistent - but if you want an example of fraud, I even used my husband's credit card once, when I didn't have one (mine had been stolen and I was waiting for replacement) knowing that coffee shop staff never look at the card. It was a sweaty moment, but it was fine..........:eek:Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

I've done a few of these too - sometimes they slip through the net but in most cases they don't even come up on my screen. I just have to listen to other MSers say they're off out for a meal/stay in a hotel!
This has only recently happened though; since the systems there were changed, they've started to weed out all the nice jobs that I used to do!0 -
update=just had a call from the company with full apology for the way ive been treated and notice to disregard the phone call and the email about fraud.
Excellent news. What did they say? Did they say the person who spoke to you was an 4ss and has been sacked? We can only hope! Bad telephone attitude really irritates me; why employ someone in a customer service role who can't manage to be nice to people?0 -
Well I'd like to send BIG RASPBERRIES and BOO, HISS to RE this morning
Last Friday evening I did a phone call to a Holiday call centre and the call had to be recorded. I followed the instructions and was advised that I'd get an email when the audio file was available for me to listen to, to help me with my assignment. The email came through on Sunday evening with an accompanying message asking me to complete and submit the assignment by midday on Monday, which I did.
I've just logged into RE and seen that I have been DEDUCTED 4 points for not completing the assignment within 24 hours which I am FUMING about and have just sent them an email about it.
I'm also still waiting for the payment to show on my account for a pub assignment I was meant to do a couple of weeks ago but when we arrived it was closed for refurbishment. I was assured I'd be paid the assignment fee but no sign of it yetWe’ve had to remove your signature. I wouldn't worry about the points - someone I spoke to at RE the other week said the points are only a test at the minute and aren't used for anything, potentially never will.
Doesn't stop you getting annoyed though!!0 -

I have the same problem, but did you know if you type into google e.g. 'convert 9 stone 8lbs to kgs' .....it does it for you!!!0 -
Hi
Can anyone help, the last time I did a GAP assignment only the first page of the paperwork printed out, and I ended up having to write the remaining 5 pages out. I have got two to do tomorrow, and the same thing has happened again. I have contacted GAP about the problem but not sure if I'll get a reply or not.
I don't want to spend an hour writing the questionnaire out manually.
Thanks
