OUR JOBS ARE SAFE AS LONG AS THERE ARE PEOPLE LIKE THIS OUT THERE......
Recently, I went to McDonald's and asked for a half dozen nuggets.
"We don't have half dozen nuggets," said the teenager at the counter.
"You don't?" I replied.
"We only have six, nine, or twelve," was the reply.
"So I can't order half dozen nuggets, but I can order six?"
"That's right."
So I shook my head and ordered six McNuggets.0 -
A bit of help please...
I have my first pizza job with GAP, I'm just reading through the info and it says "You must obtain a receipt for your transaction. If you are not voluntarily offered a receipt, you must ask for one, as soon as you have received your complete correct order and obtained your last timing point".
The last timing point is when you receive your main meal - how can I ask for a receipt at this point? Surely you wouldn't pay until the end?
I'm just worried that they may compare the time on the receipt with the time I give for the main meal arriving??
Can you please let me know what you would do...
Thank you...0 -
I hope somebody can help with this, or point me in the right direction, my lad has recently turned 14 and has seen me using this site for various ways of increasing my income, he has become interested in doing surveys but googling it sometimes brings up unsuitable survey sites for teens, if anybody has a teen who does surveys, or can help with a website with a list for teens, we would be grateful. Thanks in advance.Thankyou Sir Alex for 26 years0

I would imagine that asking for the receipt when you've received your order would really apply to if you were doing a take-away scenario
I wouldnt worry too much, most times I've been to said pizza restaurant they bring you the bill as soon as they've taken the order, before you've even got your food! We’ve had to remove your signature. I did my first takeaway pizza job this week and asked for receipt when given my pizza etc. This completely threw the server and she had to tear a piece of paper off the till roll, disappear into the back and write one out. It was in black felt pen and had to shield it from the rain as walked out of place as it was raining and didn't want it running. Also couldn't get her name except as a signature on the receipt as nametag was on a cord around her neck and couldn't read it. I explained in my report what happened and haven't heard anything back yet so hope everything's ok.Sealed Pot Callenge No 0740
