I think it's the same one I'm doing, Bob. I can't get past the same question, and I'm supposed to be doing the shop this afternoon ... aaagh ....

  • Have a very odd q. on a financial job - am meant to provide info on the routine questionnaire to fill in that will confirm what I write is correct if staff member disputes what I say. (i.e both prove I was at the branch and that feedback is accurate)? If branch has a cashpoint, then I can presumably do a transaction and get a receipt to prove I was in the branch, but am a loss as to the rest.
    Any ideas anyone?
  • Hello everybody, I wondered if anyone could advise me on a thing I may have a problem with (with TNS)..
I did a job for them at the beginning of May, submitted the results online and sent off the receipt. I have not received a payment for this job, so I looked on the website at my jobs and next to this job, it says 'Booked in' , whereas the previous month's job (which I have been paid for) says 'Done'.
I have tried to email to ask, but have had no reply and I really do not want to phone as I am useless when it comes to asking for money!
Does anyone know if this means something is wrong, or should I just be more patient?
Smile ! And pass it on..

You should be paid the month AFTER you complete the assignment, so if you did one in May you should be paid somewhere around the 28th of June. It will say done once you have been paid - booking in means its being processed. HTH :D

hi, I did a financial job the other day that asked the same thing, and it perplexed me for a while, and i started the job not knowing how i would prove i was there. Anyhoo..I listed the staff that I saw on duty, and at what window, I mentioned that the business centre was closed on the day, i mentioned the description of a member of staff in a suit standing behind a cashier being given training, and I got the staff member I spoke to to write his direct line on my leaflet...and all that for a few bob !
New to Mystery Shopping and looking to improve my income somehow...in sunny Cornwall

Quite a few of mine are still saying Booked in but I have been paid for them. I would ring them and ask.

I must have been lucky then as I got a confirmation the next day. And did my first phone job today which went really well after some help on notes from this fab forum!

I got accepted by TNS today which is great after that veryyyyy long application form. I liked the way they describe it as short ;)

So I'm now with GFK, TNS, Grass Roots and OC in just a few days. I'm thinking a supermarket might be a nice first visit rather than my small local bank where there will be no change of taking any notes so if anyone wants to pm me who does the german chain I'd be really pleased.

    Cheers!

    PM'ed you the store RoxyK
