hi, I did a financial job the other day that asked the same thing, and it perplexed me for a while, and i started the job not knowing how i would prove i was there. Anyhoo..I listed the staff that I saw on duty, and at what window, I mentioned that the business centre was closed on the day, i mentioned the description of a member of staff in a suit standing behind a cashier being given training, and I got the staff member I spoke to to write his direct line on my leaflet...and all that for a few bob !

You could collar a passer-by to discreetly take a photo of you outside the branch holding up that day's newspaper like a kidnap victim...

  • Thanks all that answered my query about proving I was there! So I guess the trick is to bombard them with details of what happened when I was in the branch.
  • Re:"free meals" - you have to take into account the cash-flow as well - that you are waiting around for them to reimburse you and there is always the risk that some fault will be found and you don't get paid. Whereas at least with the info-finding jobs all you are risking is your time and travel costs.

I have done mysteryshopping for some years now, and just recently signed up with a few more companies, but so far I haven't seen a glimpse of the Portugese chicken place. If anyone would be able to enlighten me, please feel free to pm me! ;)

I have seen these only with gap as competitor shops...
