Following your email the other day I've had my pack in the post from Tern - any tips re the test 'assignment'?
Right here goes. When you got o the jewelers get a business card from them and staple that on.
DO NOT prompt the shop with extra info. Tern are very strict about that. So the brief is to say you are looking for a gold bracelet. You volunteer nothing else...not who the gift is for or even that it is a gift unless it says that in the briefing notes ( I have forgotten what the brief actually was).
Q1.1 to 1.7 your answers must match what you put in the summary of the introduction.. So if you tick you were acknowledged within 1 minute mention that in your summary and justify all your answers.
Part 2 make sure you give details of the benefits mentioned such as safety catch, any special features etc.
In my feedback they mentioned they look at your answers from the store staff's perspective. They tell you to imagine you are the store manager assessing his staff's performance. I forgot to mention my stated budget and they highlighted that.
However I did my first job for them last week and my feedback said "Excellent report, well written and informative. I got a score of 10/10 I was flabbergasted but chuffed.
Hope this helps and let me know how you get on. Remember and check your spelling, grammar and punctuation is perfect.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

I did it with a girl, but I don't think she knew what she was doing0 -
Jezzadee,
Don't hold your breath for a Grassroots' shop.
I haven't had anything from them since December, apart from one but I didn't fit the criteria.0 -
You will all love this one. We got one of those big laminates of the inside of an Asda store and we had to identify list of things in it. Like shoplifters(potentially) 2 colleagues chatting and a customer struggling with 2 laden baskets, some bloke in the warehouse without his hi vis jacket on. Then there is a shady looking spiv with lether buckled coat and sun glasses. So who is he I asked "Oh" they said "that is the mystery shopper"
All this concentrating and I have to smile, chat etc in case a MS'er comes in and Asda get 1 every 2 weeks. If I get one with 100% though I get taken out for lunch at a local pricey restaurant.
Our store though is making a good profit and I get a bonus from that at the end of the year and after 3 months get a 10% discount on purchases.
Cheers everyone.
Just remember Holly - it's in the store's interests to try to prevent you from spotting MSers. (Thinks - should I do a double bluff and wear leather outfit for my next shop?)
Good luck with spotting your colleague MSers and having many happy meals out!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
