Tigergold have you double and triple checked the brief to make sure they weren't expecting you to collect a business card or something?

I haven't done any (certainly not many at all!) where I haven't needed to get something from the shop....

Remember GAP trust nobody - it's very unlikely they'll ever believe a MSer has actually gone to an assignment unless they provide proof!

If it's for a travel agent place you have to upload the print out they give you which has the name and address of the store on it. HTH

it was phone one. (brief does ask if you were provided with paperwork) but had awful service, they emailed me to go into greater detail. practically wrote a thesis for them. guess we will wait and see if they pay up.

Just e-mail GAP and see what they say. An e-mail wont do any harm. I had one like where didnt know what to upload and later realised it was a business card. When i e-mailed then they said it was ok not to upload. Why take the risk an hope you get paid when you can clarify with an e-mail. Just to be on the safe side.

If it was a phone shop GAP ask you for some paperwork which they should of given you with the details of the phone you were interested in and the network. This is what GAP want you to upload. This also should have the persons name on it and the shops tel number, and the information that you have spoken about throughout your visit.

That was the problem, the staff member did not do "the papaerwork" that the staff fill out, i did get the persons name ! and wrote very detailed explanation about the visit

I have an assignment with Gap tomorrow (children's store) and I have to make a small purchase for which i will be reimbursed £5.

If the purchase is say £2, will i get £5 back or is it the value on the receipt which I will be given? Also is it possible to return the item at a later date?

You will get the full reimbursement back - it becomes somewhat a hobby to get the most out of these!! :D
