Any one had any emails form grassroots offering work? Then when you click on the link into your account it shows that they are not there anymore, but when you check to see what you have missed it does not show you. Unfortunately, all jobs cannot be good. we don't live in the perfect service world, and some of the people who serve us really don't care as long as they get paid at the end of the month.
I have had plenty of queries from low scores, but why should i lie and make the company look good? A chicken drive thru I have just done has been queried as they kept asking me if i was offered any extra's to compliment my meal. I kept telling them no. It turns out the staff have to press a button to say they have asked questions before they can get a total, and this is what the staff member on this occasion had done.
Again, it is always the staff versus you on these type of things. You can't prove they didn't push that button, but they can prove they did!!!.
It does rile me sometimes when i think, why do these companies want mystery shopping if they are only going to complain when we give them a low score. It defies the object of what we do.
That folks was my rant for the week. Tune in next time for some more blurb!! LOL!0 -

Yeah and how much easier for them is it if they just press the button but don't ask you anyway! It doesn't actually prove they asked you, just because they pressed the button, does it?0 -
I also wonder sometimes why these companies pay for visits when the reports are simply ignored.
Here are a couple :
A DIY place. My report said that there was a lot of litter outside and there was no method of drying your hands in the toilets. Visited again 2 months later, still the same.
A pizza place, reported that we were freezing because the door did not close and there was a lock missing from one of the toilet cubicles. 2 months later, no change.
Do the reports get to anybody who really cares ?
Oh well, if they want to pay, I will continue.:rolleyes:0 -
Just a question regarding doing a mystery shop with a phone shop. Ive done a few of these. How far do you go into the actual deal you are enquiring about. Most of the time when you go to the phone shop they ask you what you want and you tell them the specifics of the deal you want they then tell you if you want to buy or not. Do you say at the times YES cause then they will take all your details down and you will look like a complete idiot if you say no before signing.
But if you say No at the beginning there are so many questions in the survey that get missed eg insurance, was a demo given etc
Just done one today and told him what i wanted and he said "if you want that i can give you that" i said il think about and went away but for so many questions il have to put NO or N/A
I have another one tomorow and just want advise and want to knw wether to go until he gets you to sign or just say NO at the begining like i did.
When do other people say NO and if they say NO at the end does it make you look abit stupid as whoever gives their details is obviously wants a contract and no one would say NO at the end
Any advise appreciated0
