Maximising income - Mystery Shopping? Surveys? (Part Three)
Comments

Hi
I have just had an email about one of my assignments I did for a fast food resturant last month. They have queried my timmings and wanted a description of myslf as apparently the shop had identifed me. Well of course they have identified me! I might as well have a sign on my head saying im a mystery shopper rather than asking for a reciept.
Will I still get paid?
I've started asking for a receipt every time now, even though I have never, and probably wouldn't shop one of these greasy burger joints. The floor show I had last time was spectacular.43580 -
i did a gap phone shop once and cos the guy given me a wittern quote phone tarriff sheet i never got paid,
i emailed them and said i am not there to tell him what to do he was the one who never did his job not me, so i avoid them now not worth £6 anyway so unless i am in town i dont make a special trip, gap jobs are low paid for how much detail they want0 -
Does anyone ever have a good word about GAP? Sounds like it's probably one to avoid...0

I got very frustrated with it. I was sure I had put seconds on as I had used my mobile/stopwatch to do the timings on. This was the one were I had a dodgy tummy after. My fault, but not happy at all but I guess it's won I won't make again either by not doing GAP or always making sure i put seconds done, but I was sure I had.
If I were you I would email them and say that you DID put the seconds in, but that their website was misbehaving and you think it may have lost the data. Offer to scan your original notes or questionnaire into the system and send them that! Most of these decisions are made automatically, and if you have a good reason for deviating from the norm then the staff should listen.
I do have a good word to say for Gap, but I only do their coffee shops, or the very rare burger shop where I know I am going to be in such and such a town and need a free lunch! I've sent them a few emails when they have queried my coffee shop reports - they usually want me to re-confirm what's either side. I think I have uploaded so many receipts now that they are beginning to trust that I actually DO go to the places and do the work! :rotfl:Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
they are ok but you had to concertrate all the way through. i think the seconds timing is a bit much,
they use to as what colour eyes did the member of staff have but i see thats gone0 -
I thorght of something........the food delivery jobs are good because you don't have to leave the house. I have never done the burger jobs, its just too much hassle with the timings and the receipt request.0
