Can anyone help me, i'm trying to assign some jobs on Gap but they are being rejected for no reason. I've never shopped with this store before and so it's not a monthly limit thing. Does anyone have any advise?Keeper of 2 children, 2 dogs, 2 cats & thankful that you can only have 1 husband at a time.0

did you put the correct answer or guess
I couldn't make my mind up whether they were green or blue, so I went for blue.

Though most people on here diss GAP, I quite like it. If it weren't for them, I would never have started off. The pay might be pants, but the briefs are very in detail, and that's where I got most of my experience from. So if you're new, I would start off with them. Most of the questions are yes or no, and you don't have to do lengthy reports where with other companies you have to. *** I always check eye colour when I do visits. Have a quick look when they make eye contact or greet you or something. With companies such as RE, Retail Maxim, TNS, they sometimes have a little box under the description, and I always mention eye colour and earrings/studs etc. ***0

Oh goodness, I'm not dissing them! It was the quickest form I've filled out, although I've only been dabbling in this MS lark for a month or so now. I agree that the briefs are good, but I think the answers were too pigeon-holed to get things across. Having done stuff for two other MS companies so far, GAP was the least detailed and, in fact, seemed too good to be true even taking into account the sales patter I went through!
That said, it does seem to have bad press, but as an objective MSer, I'll see what happens when they look at my report.
What is the process now? I've received an e-mail stating that it's been received. Do I get a further e-mail saying that it's been accepted?
I've registered for BARE and applied for two items, which got scheduled off to someone else - they dropped off my applications board. What's the feeling about this one? Good, bad, or ugly? ::LOL::43580 -

I've been working for them for just over 2 months. Initially I could only book a max of 5 jobs a day, now it seems like it's 15. I don't think there are limits as I've been able to book other jobs, just not these ones.Keeper of 2 children, 2 dogs, 2 cats & thankful that you can only have 1 husband at a time.0 -

I don't like the bare system, I applied for 5 jobs and did not get any of them. I am new to bare but they stay in pending status for ages and its annoying not knowing if you are going to get the job or not. Thats one good thing about RE and gap, once u select a job , you have got it.0 -

I like GAP too as the reports are quite quick and if you do get something that doesn't fit the pick list you can put it at the end. Plus the staff are really friendly on the phone and by mail WHEN they get round to replying. I've only not been paid for one job and that was my fault as I didn't do what I should have for the brief so that seemed fair. There didn't seem to be any tricks and its not my experience they go out of their way to find fault. Mind you I don't do many fast food ones mentioned before which are the ones which I think cause problems. I use the lap timer function on my mobile in my pocket for this and other timing jobs so I don't even have to look at it just push the button. Much much easier than trying to glance at the mobile and remember times I have found.
I've never had a mail to say a report has been accepted so no news from now on will be good news. The time I did muck up they were back to me within 24 hours to check and another time they wanted to check something they got back to me within a day or two.
BARE I have not done much work for as I get fed up with not knowing if you have the job or not.0 -
I like Gap, although the pay and communication is better with GFK/GR and RE, I do like the pizza and phone/electrical jobs on Gap. I get to go out and take someone out for dinner for free where I would not normally be able to afford to do so, and the reports are easy to file. I like the computer shops too because I have a big interest in pc's/laptops. The toy shop is great for stocking up on presents for kid's parties etc. I think there are no good or bad companies and some will suit some better than others. But for me I put a value on it other that £'s, and i'm happy with what work I get from them, even if some things about Gap can be a little annoying.Keeper of 2 children, 2 dogs, 2 cats & thankful that you can only have 1 husband at a time.0
