These are actually 2 completely types of shops for the same company, I know the ones you mean. I've done both, you don't lose out either way as they reimburse you. I guess you need to do slightly less prep for the one with just the fee and reimbursement

I'm quite new to Retail Eyes. A month ago I had a phone shop scheduled to do. I did it. When it came to reporting my results, it had a message on the website saying PLEASE DO NOT DO THE VISIT TODAY AS SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE CHANGED ON THE BRIEF. Anyway, I emailed the team leader who said I would get paid for that visit and the proper one I did the week after. A month later, it is just showing one payment pending when it should be two (the dud visit and the proper one I did the week after). I have emailed the team leader who says I should have one payment pending. I have emailed back asking for the other. No reply yet! I have another phone shop with them booked tomorrow. Shall I do it, or not bother until this payment problem has been sorted? He clearly told me on the phone I would get paid twice for my efforts. HELP!!

I'm trying to submit a pub assignment and it doesn't seem to be working. Firstly it wouldn't let me move to the last stage of the assignment - I pressed submit and it didn't do anything. Finally when I saved and went back into the assignment it let me submit the receipt but now it is sitting on the 'close job' page and not submitting.

There is this 'new format' they have introduced - is anyone else having trouble with it?

To stuff with the team leader. I have sent him a very snotty email asking him if I going to be paid just once or twice. I have also said if it's just once you can forget about my visit tomorrow!! I probably sound like a complete git, but I did the first shop twice and he is trying to get off by just paying me once when he actually told me on the phone it would be twice! End of rant. Thank you. LOL.

Sounds a bit like me mimi - did a shop for GAP which was reassigned (through their internal error I might add) and I had an email from them confirming I would be paid for the shop that I did. Since had an email saying I won't be paid for it. I've forwarded a copy of their original email and am waiting for a satisfactory reply, otherwise I just shan't do the next shop that i've got booked with them!

Ooops, thanks TIGERGOLD, I've taken it out now. ** JTB, if you are having problems with GAP, send them an email again explaining things, and forward the original email to them, but in the SUBJECT line put ***** MATT ***** or FOR THE ATTENTION OF MATT. I have had problems with GAP in the past re: their !!!! ups and me not getting paid etc, and Mr Matt has always sorted it out for me. I think he is the only one with a brain that works for GAP. Or send an email and ask him to call you, he normally did with me and it all got sorted at the drop of a hat. Let me know how it goes.

Ohhhh thanks everso for that mimi. I will wait and see what they say to the email I sent earlier today (forwarded their original to them too so they can't say they didn't say they would pay me!)

If I don't get any joy from the next email, then i'll email Matt.
