They use the same software - Sassie. There are many more companies who use this software but most of them are based in Northern America.
OK, thanks. In the extended profile they ask for my Gap and GFK numbers? Is this ok to give? We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Good grief no. I think it's men only as it's timber etc. Not that I am saying women don't work in that sector, cos I am sure they do somewhere. And don't worry about looking like a tradesman. I'm a 25 year old bloke that looks about 18, and I have done a fair few already. Best thing to do I guess is to wait until they get really desperate and then say you will do it, and ask for double mileage or something.
Just shows you about stereotypes - I just thought as your name was mimi you would be female0 -
There are very few of us [males] on this thread!0

Well I think I am a bloke, was the last time I checked anyway. LOL. ** If you are going to do one of these "blokes only" mystery shops, check the fee/reimbursements first. The non purchase scenarios don't pay as high as the purchase ones. Check the mini brief before you accept them.0

AAARRGGHH!! Just booked my first assignment ever! One of the pharmacy ones cos it looked like a nice gentle one to start with
.
The thing is I'm getting a bit nervous as it's the first one I've done. What do you include in your expenses? I ask because I know you dont include petrol. I'll obviously include the receipt for my purchase - do you include printing the notes and questionnaire?
Thanks for any help!

I'm a male and avoid the male-only ones like the plague! DIY store and betting shops are my idea of a nightmare!!:rotfl:0

I registered for grassroots last month and did about 7 or 8 assignments for them - the first few weeks I was receiving plenty of assignments but since it has gone very quiet - could anyone suggest why? Would it be that they had a few assignments which they had struggled to fill in my area and now that I have done them no more will be required for a while?
One other question, do grass roots offer mainly shops or do they also do restaurants/hotels etc?0 -

If you look at the very beginning of this thread, there is a guide to what you can and can't claim as expenses...
As a (very) brief guide, I claim the following as expenses:
Mileage @ 40p per mile (The standard rate)
Printing @ 6p per sheet
Parking @ Cost
Rail Tickets @ Cost
Broadband @ 50% of the bill (as can't justify 100%)
Stationery @ CostAndy Corbett0 -
No they havent started doing sex shops yet.
My question is about proof of posting.Do you get paid for that or only if you purchase something.
Goes something like X amount =fee +£5 reimbursement or
X amount=fee +proof of posting.
Which would you do and why.
Thanks folks.0
