I seem to have lost the ability to thank people on the thread - I do hope it's a temporary glitch.
Have a good day. Take care.

I’m glad it’s not just me then. So thank you all anyway.
My insect bites now itch like crazy, but....I think I slept pretty much all night. Wooty wooty woot woot.
I’m on work for the morning, then I have to take DD to the hospital. Not looking forward to that. We have managed to avoid the places for quite a few months now. SC is out so that I can fling some veggie chilli bits in before we leave.
Have a lovely day all.8 -
Today I need to vacuum through downstairs and the stairs then I will be up to date there and also clean my bedroom which I left until now for bedding changing. I'll also clean out the bunnies as the green bin has now been emptied and the sawdust makes a good first layer.
Might list more carp on flea bay. 🚙 needs washing as it's very dusty.

Good morning!
I have a headache this morning, so some parrots have been consumed. I have checked the bank accounts and emails while still in bed. I need to get moving as I have a gas engineer coming at about 11am to service the boiler! He phoned on Tuesday to say he could do it today (it's part of my policy to have it serviced annually, but they wouldn't do it in November when it was due & said they would call back in april!)
Today's list:
Finish clearing the boxes in the utility
Continue with greenhouse installation
An hour or so at the allotment
Risk assessment shaped frog
I also need to put the filter back in the vacuum cleaner that was washed yesterday, and vac through downstairs.
Ok - time to get up & dressed!
Have a good day everyone 😁7 -

I'm up.. very early for us of late! The cat woke me up exhaling up my nostril!! GROSS!!!Pixie had her school video chat at 9:30. Her teacher sounded genuinely sad that year 2 were not going back she seems to really miss the children.. Squeak has hers at 2 and Twinkle has hers at 4.I need new underwear.. my 'top' is trying to escape and is very uncomfortable. Not high on the list of priorities of course.. least of all now I have wallpaper paste to buy.. haha Is it just me who REALLY struggles to find something 'right'?
Before lunch I want to get the front half of the hallway cleared.. OH can have the kitchen.. it is just posts and work surfaces and God help him if those sides don't get cleaned! I will string him up!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -
I'm flopped in my easy chair in the dining room, all sweaty and bad tempered after queuing outside two banks for half an hour each in our nearest town. The second bank had a very irritating teller who ticked me off for not knowing the pin number on my credit card as I was trying to pay a cheque to it. He was sooooo slow and had to check all my details on the computer as part of their housekeeping....please explain that to the other 15 people waiting outside in the baking sun!! Honestly, just get on with things and hurry up, you annoying man.
So, despite being woken up at 6am by Small practicing his new skill of tea-making (thanks mate, but a 7am wake up is totally fine...) I have done diddly squat.
My sewing pattern for some summer trousers arrived in the post, so just off to search for cheapish cotton fabric to create some cooler trollies, as I refuse to wear shorts, even if we are on lockdown and nobody sees me!
Might do some flying later, might not....dunno yet.8 -
