Cleaned kitchen. Finished baby cardigan so packed and posted that along with nephews birthday card - bought pre lockdown and required large letter stamp. Walked to PO in jeans and long sleeved top. Came home and got changed .
Machine at PO has joined forces with the one at the new L1dl and claims that I have two payment methods on my phone (I don't) so had to fish card out of purse because nobody wants cash.
made tea using sw frozen tikka sauce. Well past use buy but who cares. Ironed most of pile while listening to Goon Show on radio 4 extra.
Knitted more of DD's top during briefing while airing my opinion. And watched episode 2 of Downton. What's a weekend? Asked the Dowager Duchess. Search me...
more knitting. All work uploaded. Laptop acting up again so back to the new one but I got all my files while it did work so I'm happy.
tomorrow I MUST plant the veggies. Might try for an early morning dig.

I'm generally a shower person, Narc0 , but I could see myself relaxing in that bath
Fayolle, you needn't worry about me overdoing things: I've still got these jobs to carry over to tomorrow:
- sow more flower seeds in pots and trays, leaving unopened just those packets that will still be in date next year
- sow more salad seeds in the raised bed
- clear the back border in the back garden and cut back the ivy on the fence behind
- plant out the rest of the things in pots and trays in the resulting spaces
but in my defence I decided to do some baking instead and made 2 cakes (one of them is DS1's half-birthday cake for Thursday), a dozen scones and a week's rations of Twinks biscuits for myself and DH. I also watered the garden and the border alongside the drive this evening, and watched BakeOff SU2C as well as a Repair Shop episode that I'd missed.
I tried to ring my friend, but she is not answering the phone again
On the off chance, I tried for a delivery slot with MrS and managed to grab one for Saturday evening

Morning all
As predicted I only managed paid stuff and dailies yesterday, it was too warm after work to do much! You’ve all been so productive...I’m feeling like a sloth in comparison!Today is forecast to be warm again, I need to go out and get some hay fever meds and also to post a parcel. I think I will do an hour (quiet) flying before starting paid stuff and while the house is still cool...
Back later x8 -
Well, yesterday I taught my 8 year old to make tea and coffee using the kettle and coffee machine (rather nervous with all the boiling water) and was rewarded with tea in bed this morning! His project from school was to make and follow a specific set of instructions, which he did. Today we will catalogue and record it and post it to his online school folder for his teacher to see.
Consequently I am still in bed!
Let's get moving...9 -
Morning again!
Just about to start paid stuff, in my flying hour (and a bit..) I have...
s/s bathroom
showered and dressed
had breakfast
wm x 1 and pegged on the line
quick vac of ground floor
WUDUPA
s/s kitchen
emptied, washed and refilled litter trays
took rubbish to the bin
turfed DH out of bed, opened windows, left bed to air, will make it later
quick tidy of lounge... 30 seconds worth LOL
That was quite a productive hour I think. Now, cuppa in hand, computer has started so on to paid stuff.
see you all later on x9 -
Dizzy you could add that, if he gets boiling water on his hands, to put under running cold tap for 5 minutes. Then you know he knows the first aid.
Blow me I AM up! Jeans and socks too, ready for digging.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all, not sure how productive today is going to be as I'm feeling a bit slow. Sun is shining and it's a long weekend here starting tomorrow, not that it changes much but will be nice to have OH home for 4 days and we may pop some bits over to DD1, she needs a printer cable and some more playmats (she's using our old play mats as yogo/fitness mats)
Up, showered, dressed
Bed made, clothes picked up
WM on with sofa throws
Picnic lunch made for OH
Banking and finances done
Going to have some breakfast as maybe that will give me some energy. I'm really just putting off doing the admin work, tax return needs to be done by the end of the month.
Back to work to teach adults next week but no news about kids, in reality it means one conversation group for me so started thinking about some topics and listing vocab I want to introduce.

Good morning!
I didnt sleep that well, so I am not rushing to get up (no change there then, I hear you say!😂)
Valli your post did make me laugh 😁
Dizzy well done on the home schooling - win-win I would say!
Round 1
Get up & dressed
Breakfast
Strip bed
Put on WM
Empty food bin
Bank accounts & email have been checked while still in bed. I got up earlier to make a cuppa and put out the food bin with the chicken carcass (everything else is composted)
Have a good day everyone!8 -
Round 1 done.
I think the next move is bandq for edging so I can put DH to work. I have a webinar booked in for 11.30, this is going to be tight!8 -
Morning,
Where is this week going?......nowhere apparently! Monday I seemed to be busy doing nothing and then yesterday I took the kids out for a scooter ride/picnic, it was all going so well until I fell A over T and had to come home early covered in bumps and scrapesToday I feel so sore I can hardly lift my arms and my poor knees are no happy either.
Going to try and get some sort of flying done as my house is starting to go backwards after making progress the last few weeks!
slightly injured but positive vibes to all8
