Good evening! I have been AWOL since yesterday morning!
I spent a few hours at the allotment, weeding mainly. I dropped off some salad leaves and radishes off to some neighbours who are shielding on the way home. DH did 20 runs of a mile each!
Today it was DD2'S birthday! We had asked what she wanted to do, so we had breakfast together, went for a walk with the dog, played some games, had a takeaway from the local Italian and watched Trolls 2. I think she had a good day. She had a surprise visit from an old school friend. I could have cried when I watched her put the present down on the pavement then back away to allow her to pick it up 😥 It's the little things that remind you of these strange times that get you the most, isn't it?
Anyway, the short story is - not much flying here today! I have loaded the DW before bed though.....
Night night all - see you on the new thread!7 -

YORKSHIRELASS said:Oh you crafty lot just put me to shame. I am hopeless, havent the patience either. My poor gran tried to teach me to crochet once, it didnt end well. Well its been a strange day, didnt want to sit and read, not much to do really. Ended up doing washing, cleaning windows, a little bit of studying.
If it's not on the actual road (ie on a drive) and there's any tax left on it SORN it before the end of the month as you can't transfer tax to a new owner and you'll get a bigger refund than if you leave it until June.
Stayed up to finish back of DD's jumper. VV pleased with myself - I haven't knitted for an adult since about 1982. Enjoying th elong rows actually.
