Afternoon all
Late in today, minimal flying done after my blitz yesterday. I’ve done a load of washing which is flapping on the line, baked some fruit loaf and some blueberry and ginger muffins, also planted out summer bedding. Other than that it’s been a slow quiet day, very nice.
Supper is spiced beef, veg and rice, the beef is done as I made it and froze it the other week, DH will prep some veg once he’s finished mowing the lawn. This evening I intend to sit and read once the kitchen is reset. Hope you are all ok, catch you on the new thread x8 -
Been doing a freezer shuffle. Freezer two of three is now defrosting. Third of four wash loads is in machine but the stuff outside is not really drying so I'm using the airer now.
Once I've had my cuppa I'm going to type up a list of what's in the freezers and stick it inside a cupboard door.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Progress update:
- put away 2 loads dry laundry
- hang out two wet loads on airer
- walk the dog
- finish crochet bear no 1
- 10 mins tidying in craft room
- half hour tidying in garden
- go and sit on friends drive for socially distant cuppa for half an hour yay
Just off out to the garden for a bit of weeding8 -
I keep getting logged out aswell, there is a post about it in the bug forum. My cat loved the smell of bleach aswell, would roll around like crazy on it. I googled it and they said its the chlorine they love, silly things.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:8

Oh you crafty lot just put me to shame. I am hopeless, havent the patience either. My poor gran tried to teach me to crochet once, it didnt end well. Well its been a strange day, didnt want to sit and read, not much to do really. Ended up doing washing, cleaning windows, a little bit of studying.
Oh and I have put DSs car up for sale. He is hoping to go back to the big city soon and doesnt really need it, and we are paying tax and insurance for it every month. Its nothing flash but I might get £600 for it. I hate selling cars, someone messaged to ask will it pass its MOT in October, how do I flippin know, I am not a mechanic with a crystal ball!!!8 -
