Hugs to Natty xx
I'm going to fetch the washing in. It should be dry. I hardly dare go look - I do hope it's not draped over the neighbours' (plural) yards.
Sleeves rolled up - I'm going in....I mean out...

Morning (well. afternoon), quiet day for me so far, Done some bear crocheting but its crocheting with 2 strands of DK at once with a 4.5 hook and its really hard. I'm not enjoying it at all . SIgh. So just doing a row here and there. DS announced last night he had completely run out of meds, luckily he had ordered a new lot, just not told me so we hadn't collected them. This morning I nearly forgot but I dashed up to the pharmacist 10 minutes before closing (they close early on a Saturday!!). Pharmacist was shouting at another woman for not social distancing in the shop. Woman was shouting back. All v stressful, I don't like confrontation.
Anyway popped to Sains while there to get fruit and eggs, DH has done all our shopping so far, this is the first time I've been in a shop in 2 months !!!
Thought a list on here might spur me on to do some jobs so here's the plan:-
- scrub bathroom floor (lots of blood marks - yuk - as DD2 had a nosebleed last night)
- tidy round the side of the sink
- wash a load of towels
-wipe down vanity and window sill in bathroom
- clean ensuite floor as its filthy
- clean downstairs loo floor cos why not while I'm at it .....
- dust radiator cabinet in hall
- hang up picture in hall that's been down since Chrustmas
- sort out stuff on dressing table
- hang up dry clothes
- go through odd sock pile
- sort out basket in bedroom
Off I go ....

Hugs Natty, hope Dave is ok x
A change of plan here. DD and her DH decided to do their walk in our village so we walked in the village too so saw them from a safe distance. Boy, it was hard work walking in the gale though, we were back indoors within half an hour. Feel shattered now but nice to see DD after ten weeks. It's now read a book day if I can keep my eyes open.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Just having a cuppa break but lots of progress made:

- tidy round the side of the sink in ensuite
- wash a load of towels
-wipe down vanity and window sill in ensuite
- clean ensuite floor as its filthy
- clean downstairs loo floor cos why not while I'm at it .....
- dust radiator cabinet in hall
- hang up picture in hall that's been down since Christmas
- sort out stuff on dressing table
- hang up dry clothes
- go through odd sock pile
- sort out basket in bedroom

More hugs to Natty.
Walked up to village shop to get a paper, yeast and lemons......bread planned. No yeast. No fresh lemons but a bottle of lemon juice. Bread plan B i.e. without yeast is soda bread, a new one for me. Made buttermilk. Discovered the only wheat flour I had was wholewheat bread flour which someone on G00gle advised against but it worked anyway, yippee. Mr N and I very impressed, I'll be even more so if it doesn't give me too much of a reaction. Decided as oven was on I'd make muffins, another new one for me. This compromise was using gf flour and throwing everything in the food processor rather than beating and stirring like the recipe said......another success. It had the added bonus of decluttering 9 mini bread cases I've had in the drawer for years after a plan to bake Xmas presents.
Apart from washing up and clearing the cake mess I confess I have been pretty idle.
Howling wind outside so don't fancy joining Mr N in the garden but I have lots to do on the computer so had better get on and achieve something.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
Hugs Natty...wondered why there was a picture of the hospital carpark popping up on my FB feed. Hope Dave is OK...Sending be well wishes. Glad to hear MiL got the all-clear, bless her.
As it was so windy here, DH and I decided to muck out the main goathouse, which we have been experimenting with having a warm bed layer over the winter to see if it kept the goats any warmer. It did, but boy, does it stink when you lift it. Honestly not sure I can do that again, so I think I'll go back to my little and often method, to save both my back and nostrils!
Haven't done the wetroom yet, but TBH, I feel broken, so I might leave that a while.
Having a cuppa...anyone like to join me?

We're back, couldnt believe how quick he was in the end. Dave's ok, well as ok as can be...they didnt keep him in thankfully. He has got medicine to take, been ordered to rest for at least a week and drink fluids - plenty of.
Dave has admitted to me he was scared as he didnt know what was happening, but then I told him I was scared too especially when I got told I couldn't stay with him. Now maybe he'll listen to me when I'm 'nagging' as he calls it...
Thank you all for the hugs etc...you don't know how much they are appreciated.
Huge hugs xxx

More hugs to Natty, and posivibes for Dave xx
I had an awful night's sleep and woke early (even did a few bits of flying before DH appeared), so after breakfast I went back to bed and didn't wake up until 11.00. I have con tinued to feel cold and miserable all day - not improved by hearing the wind howling outside - and only managed a bit of knitting this afternoon, but now that we have intermittent sunshine I am determined to clear the rest of the ivy off the back fence before taking Rosie for her walk. Funny how few people have been walking along the lane today! I have put on socks and a jumper to keep warm.
Pigpen, the aran yarn will be on way to you after the Bank Holiday, as soon as I can get to the Post Office.
Fayolle, I have messaged you.
Nice to see you back, asb.
