Hiya, I hope everyone is having an okay week. Not sure how it got to Thursday before I got on board. I've been busy all week but I have to admit that's I've achieved very little. House looks okay if you don't look to closely. I have to fully commit to getting on board next week! I'm sure I've said that before!!
Thanks for the thread as always xx10 -

Sorry for not putting up today's list, will be putting it up in a minute with tomorrow's list. Unfortunately my husband has been taken really badly ill and we are awaiting a Covid test on my mother in law who is in a care home, and unfortunately it totally slipped my mind. Hugs Natty and anyone else who needs them.
Today I got up early and did most of the dailies and a dog walk before the paid stuff. Busy day, waiting for DH to wake up so we can have tea.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
HUGEST of good health vibes fluttering your way Natty... be kind to yourself.. and keep talking to us.. we are here and care very much xxx I hope Mr Natty and MIL get the all clear soon xxx It is a very worrying time for older people.
6 loads of washing done and 5 dried.. 1 waiting to go on the line but 3 loads are folded ready to go away.
4x DWI am now going to have a man rant, because if I don't rant here I WILL rage on his head... please feel free to skip..OH has been as much use as a chocolate fireguard.. every time I looked at him he was wasting time, faffin with stupid weights, piddling onhis phone.. you should have seen the tantrum when I asked him to wipe the worksurfaces.. he did 1 of the 3 leaving one covered in sugar! I asked him to put one basket of washing out .. I was cooking dinner.. he put the basket outside and disappeared.. when I found him he was sat on the sofa piddling on his phone.. I am REALLY fed up of having to spell out every minor detail of what I expect to be done when I ask for a task to be completed... I shouldn't even have to ask.. no oone asks me to cook dinner or vacuum or get rid of rubbish so why do I have to give idiotic intricate detailed task lists?? I got ragey about it over the washing.. after the worktops, setting the video chat for Pixie, loading the dishwasher and picking up a bit of washing.
Anyway... now I have done all the things I had asked him to do this morning I will get on with emptying some of the hallway while he puts the girls to bed.. I refuse to be a part of it after doing everything else all day.
ok.. done now! it is safe from here on in!
cuppa first then I shall empty the stacking box in the hallway and fold up one of the 2 pushchairs out there which haven't been used since February!!

DH is still asleep so I think I'll just have crisps and we can have whatever he planned for tomorrow. Today's food has been crumpets, donuts and a satsuma because work was so busy.
No flying but I have read another chapter of my book.Spend less now, work less later.9 -

I would strike but I can't bear the clutter and I need to get stuff done so I can decorate and actually have some room.. it is horrible knowing it has to be done and it is a mammoth task and I get to do it all on my own!

Oh Natty hope all is going to be OK with DH and MIL. Coping vibes sent your way x
Pigpen I am so with you. I am doing about 97% of the housework here, even though I work more hours than DH, and the boys are at home. I have to ask if I want anything doing, then once it is done they sit down. Why is it my job anyway?
This week has been hard going. Work has been tough and I have not been motivated, in fact I gave up at half three this afternoon and went out on the bike for an hour. House is a bit messy but I am too tired to bother now.10 -
Hi,
I'm new and would like to join - well not really new, I used to come on here as JillD but forgot my password lol so here I am as jimali but really I just want to be Jill! Lovely to see some of the old names - piggers and mudders etc .... looking forward to catching up on all the news! For those who don't know me I have a 17yo with ASD and ADHD, a 15yo with depression, and a tomboy 12 yo (who was known as asbo-baby when I was on here when she was a baby/toddler. Her temper hasn't changed ....)
Hubs and I have spent most of lockdown decluttering and now the house is clear ..... but anything but clean. So I thought I'd give this a go again. Looking forward o diving in tomorrow. I think ...9
