Paid off the last bit of the holiday today and have put away 250 toward the spending (plus 60 I've had for my birthday - which is today for any stalkers out there) I'm on min payments now for the debts until after the holiday.

Something wonderful but nor wonderful happened.

I dont have a very big kitchen and I only have a little larder fridge.

Well, I managed to break the fridge when I was cleaning it out yesterday. Don't ask.

So, today, I did my resarch online, went into comet and paid for a new one with my switch card..

Straight off. No worries at all.

Have had to use a little from my hol savings but I dont mind. I can replace it very soon.

Letter from ING yesterday. Even though we have taken a 2 month payment break on the mortgage, the recent drop in interest rates means my lovely tracker mortgage has come down! We will now be paying 7 pounds a month less!

No car insurance to be paid for hubby this month as it's due for renewal next month (woo-hoo, more free money from Quidco) so I've put the 50 quid from that back into the hol savings and I've upped my efforts at saving all my change, so with my birthday money I now have about 300 pounds!

Quick quidco Q while I'm at it, my car insurance has been tracking 50 pounds since Jan and it's still not paid out. Do you think I will get this before June?
  • I would hope so but can never tell. At least its tracking.
