Hello A mediation service can not be canceled.Have info from Solicitor ,and charges to take a case are:£600 plus the VAT,Every hour at the court around £175 plus the VAT.Charges ,f case taken to SMALL CLAIMS COURT,,can not be claimed back.
Why are you even considering a solicitor?  Or is that a 'Secret Service' issue too?

You're resident in Germany. Have you told the Claimant in writing, copying them in with proof of address, like a carefully redacted utility bill?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You are NOT using a solicitor!  Why even ask them?

If you reckon Mediation can't be cancelled, do what we said and USE that phone call as a chance to tell the Claimant that they have no case and that you are out of jurisdiction and live permanently in Germany anyway.

You have already been told to send a rectification notice to the DPO of VCS and their solicitors. You need to tell them to erase your old data and replace it with your new address for service and contact details. Ensure you use the word erase.
You must tell everyone involved at every stage that you permanently live in another country.
You should have done this days ago when you were first advised to do so.

Hello there. Have informed VCS and a Court about a change of residence. However in regards of  D. P. O for Sheffield, as there is VCS located, can't find a relevant email address.

    I really don't understand that.

Their Data Protection Officer's email address is on all three of their Privacy Notices clearly accessible from a google search of VCS privacy.

It is sooooo easy to find a DPO email.

OK, in your case in Germany that little chat is a chance to tell the Claimant that you will not be paying anything, are not liable and live in Germany as your permanent residence and that they must erase all other addresses from their databank.

DO NOT let the Mediator push you into making an offer.

Do not be led.  Say ''No'' then ''No'' again and don't be scared to disagree or say ''Good day'' and put the phone down.

Don't be scared to say ''I am out of jurisdiction, I live in Germany, and the Claimant should discontinue''.

During the call, stand up while talking, and wear office clothes and shoes (honestly, it helps you come across as more confident; much better than sitting on your sofa in comfy clothes & slippers, haha!).
