    Hi all
I’ve checked this thread since Wednesday for updates.
I applied originally last Monday but unfortunately put the wrong sort code on my application doh! Anyway I rang them and they just told me to submit a new application which I did on Wednesday.
Had an email earlier which stated my application was successful ( business account holder) and just to sign the documents via ‘echo sign’portal and submit bank details for D/D presumably for repayments.
Hope this gives some hope to someone as I was checking on a regular basis.
    Stay safe everyone 👍🏼
You are very lucky! How much you are applying if you don't me asking? We applied on the 12th May for 25k and still heard nothing from HSBC, only a confirmation email that they've received the application. Anyone else on the same boat as us? Called on Thursday and only managed to speak to someone after waiting for 1 hour on the phone to tell us he has no idea how long it will take and they don't have a system to track the application either! I'm regretting having a HSBC bank account!!
    15k, hope this helps 👌

  • Hi All , I applied for BBL on 16 /05 and still nothing from them, on 26/05 applied again, will wait. Natwest approve and issue funds within 48 hours, HSBC takes so long.

We are three years into LTD company, now after a tricky beginning  making a good business we had a issue with a supplier who got a CCJ against us - we have a payment plan set up almost cleared ( it was a small amount - cash flow made us late paying ) but they wouldn't wait.   Would this stop us getting a BBL our accountant said we could ask for up to £14,000.   we would use the cash to take on another lad and van.

I signed on the 12th and nothing (I’m a few days behind you it seems)
  • I applied and was accepted n the 13th May. Forms confirmed as signed after spending two hours on the phone. Supposed to be escalated with a reply end of yesterday. That’s not happened. Seeing these posts I guess there is a backlog. Ironically I life with someone who applies for two different companies and was accepted and paid almost immediately!
  • All my paperwork went through on the day 15 days ago. I had acceptance letter but no money yet

    Have you emailed the CEO?
    Ian.stuart@hsbc.com
Give a detailed account of when you applied, list calls and I promise within 72 hours you will get clarification.
It pays to be nice, don't go in all guns blazing 😊
  • Hello Everyone hope your all well during this pandemic and hard time. I'm self-employed and applied on 14/05/2020 (applied for full 50k), I have a personal account with HSBC. Received the auto-reply email but have had absolutely nothing since. Been checking my email and junk mail but still nothing im rethinking to apply again as this is just stupid of them taking so long, my wife has a limited company and banks with lloyds and got paid in 2 days!! stupid service from HSBC.
