  • Following my echosign at 3am yesterday morning, I have checked my accounts and the loan has cleared. No DD set up or pending.

    Summary:
    Applied 7th  (no email)
    Re applied 16th (email)
Called/emailed/contact form etc. Helpful call Wednesday 20th
    Echsign Friday 22nd at 3am
Funds cleared middle of the night Friday 22nd.

Good luck all, faith restored 😊

  • To add;
I applied for the full 50k and i have been a HSBC business customer for 4 years. They are working through things now it seems.

Applied on 14th May and received automatic confirmation email.
In a partnership but running from sole HSBC business account, in 1 partner's name.  (Although both partners also hold HSBC personal accounts, so both are known to HSBC).  For anyone else in similar position, in the application we wrote the business entity name as "A & B, trading as C", but the bank account name correctly, "A trading as C".
Both partners received echosign documents at 3am today, 23rd.   Once first partner signed, the other party receives an email reminder to sign.  Once both have signed, both parties receive another confirmation email that the form is complete.
All emails to both parties were in our junk mail (Hotmail)

I applied on the 5th, signed the Echosign docs on the 9th and still nothing. I'm starting to lose hope of ever getting this money now.

    Hi all
I’ve checked this thread since Wednesday for updates.
I applied originally last Monday but unfortunately put the wrong sort code on my application doh! Anyway I rang them and they just told me to submit a new application which I did on Wednesday.
Had an email earlier which stated my application was successful ( business account holder) and just to sign the documents via ‘echo sign’portal and submit bank details for D/D presumably for repayments.
Hope this gives some hope to someone as I was checking on a regular basis.
    Stay safe everyone 👍🏼
You are very lucky! How much you are applying if you don't me asking? We applied on the 12th May for 25k and still heard nothing from HSBC, only a confirmation email that they've received the application. Anyone else on the same boat as us? Called on Thursday and only managed to speak to someone after waiting for 1 hour on the phone to tell us he has no idea how long it will take and they don't have a system to track the application either! I'm regretting having a HSBC bank account!!

I've been told i need a feeder account when I called up. But not had anything official from HSBC

Are they still working weekend and is anyone able to be contacted about this?
  • I am a HSBC Business Customer. I applied 13.5.2020, Echo documents arrived 15.5.2020 -  I have not signed these as I submitted another application on the 14.5.2020 as I changed my mind about the loan value. Original application was cancelled via telephone with HSBC.  However even though I have received a confirmation email for the second application, I have heard nothing since which is annoying as the first application came through within days. Spoke to HSBC on numerous occasions, which was unhelpful. This is really frustrating and I don't want to waste my time speaking with HSBC again as they have no updates to offer.

I have logged a complaint now as I've lost 11days up to now, so probably !!!!!! myself in foot and won't get a penny now.
