    just signed my echo. (account number was right on the paperwork)
    made my app on the 15th.
    didnt reapply

    Having applied on May 4th and waiting relatively patiently for 3 weeks, I resorted to emailing the CEO last Wednesday. 

    On Friday morning the BBL appeared on Internet banking and I received the echosign email at 11am. It was signed and returned at about 12.30pm and the funds had appeared by 3pm the same day. 

    I suspect I’ll never know if the email to the CEO was the game changer or not, but after weeks of nothing suddenly things started to happen. 
    I also signed my documents on Friday morning and the account appeared in my internet banking but still no available funds yet. Think I might try that email route see what has happened.

    When they call you back for a feeder account,    how long does it take?

    Just had a call from someone about opening it up, but they said they needed to share my computer screen etc and can taken up to a hr?

    When I googled the number it came up as suspicious🤔

    When I opened my feeder account I was called from start to finish by a hsbc business banking account manager. It was a mobile phone number. You will receive emails off of them through the HSBC secure log in.

    Hi I still haven't heard anything, applied on the 4th , got email saying 'echosign was on the way', spoke to someone on the 17th who said I should apply again as there were issues. Applied again, got email application received and nothing since. I have talked to HSBC but got nowhere. To be honest I'm just tired of checking emails, waiting in phone lines while trying to plan out the future steps. We're thinking about moving business account after this all settles down but not sure any of the banks are much better for business banking.  Hope everyone else gets better results.

    Surely this can’t be right. Needing to share your computer screen ? 
    With all the scams around they really do not expect people to do this do they ?

    Can I just add...I keep reading about relationship managers and business managers...I've had a business account with HSBC for 12 years. I live in a rural area of Wales and all our manager support has been shifted around so much that I don't even have a permanent person to call. It's exhausting having to meet someone new every time you want to do anything, including this whole BBL thing. (Sorry just a bit demoralised...we're still in lockdown here and it's hard to connect with anyone...thanks for being patient)
