I've just had an email saying the money should be refunded in the next few days. This is after getting a chargeback 2 weeks ago.

It looks like their accounting team are overloaded. I will, of course, sort out returning the chargeback immediately.
  • Update on my refund. Ryanair cancelled flight 16th may. Getting nowhere with them,so did chargeback with my bank. Full refund from my bank today. I happy

Same here, flight cancellation mid-May, refund applied same day, continual lies from Ryanair about when refund would be paid, lost patience, went down the chargeback route which was repaid back to account last week. Ryanair have just emailed with a brief 'refund will be paid back in 7 days' note. I'd be interested to know whether they're cross-checking against lists of chargebacks (probably not) and what onus is on me to manage any part of this, now.
  • I also went down the section 75 route with a similar result. In order to pile on the pressure, I stopped using the CC I had used for the flight booking to help to focus the mind of the CC company. Seemed to work a treat!

Are you seriously under the impression that not using a credit card would in any way influence the provider's decision about a s75 claim?!

That is hysterical. You think they noticed you didn't buy your groceries out of the Millions of customers and transactions they have daily?

If the flight is operating there is no refund due - check your travel insurance policy
