Same message here, after waiting nearly a month for my cash refund I have the dreaded voucher. Am currently on a live chat system waiting to get through , it just shows 'Please stay connected. You are in a queue for the next available Customer Care agent.
We are currently experiencing a high volumes of contacts from customers and acknowledge the wait times are longer than usual, please bear with us and we will help you with your query.'
Bother, I still have another one to sort out for a later flight as well.
I might try a section 75 claim via the credit card as well.

I applied for a refund straight away. What are our rights? Please find attached a full text of your rights under EU Regulation 261/2004.---------------------------------------2. RIGHT TO REIMBURSEMENT OR RE-ROUTINGIf you are denied boarding (whether voluntarily or involuntarily) or your flight is cancelled, you are additionally entitled to choose between:
a) reimbursement pursuant to Article 8(1) of the Regulation within seven days, by means provided for in Article 7(3), of the full cost of the ticket at the price at which it was bought, for the part or parts of the journey not made and for the part or parts already made if the flight is no longer serving any purpose in relation to the passenger’s original travel plan; or

I'm not tolerating this in any form from an underhand company who wish to screw their customers.
Ryanair have not carried out services that have been paid for and are refusing to refund. I've sent Ryanair one more message on their web form inviting them to process a cash refund for 2 (so far) cancelled bookings within the next 7 days. If they refuse to do so or don't reply, I will be looking to team up with others to start the process of having them declared insolvent. In the current situation it is likely a case of nothing being able to be done straight away, however the plan is that it will focus their mind on resolving their dirty tactics.
One thing is obvious, and that is that Ryanair have no ability to pay their debts as they fall due and are therefore insolvent, as I cannot see a reason for them to try to delay if they could. 'Oh, I can't pay you now, I'll pay you whenever' is pub jargon for 'I don't have the money, go away'. I've had enough problems in the last month personally that I'm not willing to let this issue lie.💙💛 💔3 -

________________________________________________________________________________________Can I receive a cash refund instead of voucher?
You can request a cash refund however bear in mind we will place your request in the cash refund queue until the COVID-19 emergency has passed. We highly recommend using the refund voucher as these are readily available and you can book flights on all Ryanair Group airlines in over 200 destinations in Europe and the Middle East._________________________________________________________________________________________
I don't think Ryanair are planning on issuing any refunds any time soon. I'm not saying I agree with them or that the stance they have taken is anyway defendable, just pointing out what it says.0 -
Same here, requested refund on 20/3 followed up 2 weeks later with a call and told "its in progress just delayed", emailed today to say heres a worthless credit note.... I'd rather the money be in my bank than theirs atm. I've been on hold for the past 40 mins and now phone has died, I' messaged their online bot to chat at 10:30 this morning, never got a reply back.
I'm also struggling to get hold of love holidays as I've heard nothing from them at all regarding a refund, no email address, no phone number, surely not providing this info is illegal.1 -

The only positive thing I can add is that the voucher cost covers all my booking, including luggage and seat allocation.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hopefully, this thread is generating enough traffic that someone at MSE Towers will catch on. O'Leary needs to be taken to task. I don't believe they don't have the cash, right now they do, later maybe not. But it is the old Ryanair tactic of they would rather have your money in their bank than yours.1

We got a email today saying we can use a voucher or get a refund.
We wanted a refund all along, in the email its says "click here" to claim refund and when we follow the link it goes straight to a page where you choose new flights and book another holiday.
What is going on RYANAIR your taking the pi$$1 -
On the phone to halifax atm, seems as ryan air have offered a cash refund at some point theres nothing they can do. But because the package was purchased through love holidays and they arent contactable, their fraud team are logging it1

It's probably not helpful, but on other forums people are suggesting that complaints are put in about Ryanair here : Report a business behaving unfairly during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak

Frankly it is probably not worth the bother, but just in case anyone is cross enough !
