Ryanair refund-reservation number invalidjoin us Facebook

My family of four were meant to fly to Seville on Friday 20th of March and return on Monday 23rd of March. Ryanair cancelled our return flight but not the outbound even though the FCO guidelines have advised against any non essential travel to Spain. I cannot get a refund for my cancelled return flight as their system will not allow (as per all the other comments in the forum) and I am assuming that they won’t give me a refund for Friday flight as they flew to Spain and I chose (following FCO guidelines nit to go) so where do I stand? Can’t get hold of anyone to ask and so any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm also not able to get their "cancel" button to work.0

Does the refund only include the cost of the flight ... or does it also include baggage fees paid????????0

Hi there!
I've had the very same problem you are describing, but didn't have the patience to wait for the consultants' mercy to pick up.
I guess you guys are selecting the option to apply for a refund for all of the people in the reservation - because the flight has been cancelled, why do it otherwise? I tried it the same way and, of course, "reservation number invalid". However, when I selected to do it for "some passengers" - and then manually input data for all of the people on the ticket (it was easy, as I was going to travel solo) - it worked and the application got through!
Please tell me if this works for you.0 -
Hi,
I have been trying for days contacting by live chat and phone with no results. I was full of hope that system might be working correctly and that there is a reason behind all that. Today it turn out that I was right. I strognly belive that reservation number is not trasnfered into refund "pile" until the point of completion your planed journey. My canceled return flight was yeasterday and today my aplication went thru no trouble. I would strongly suggest if you are not desperate wait till day after your return date or date after single flight and try filling the form. Let me know if this trick works for you guys, fingers crossed

AGAIN... It's disheartening reading about the struggles of others to receive what you are owed after Ryanair cancelled your flights. My flight was also cancelled over a week ago and to date I have not been successful in submitting the form - as the link does not allow me to submit. Financially this is a tough time and really EVERY LITTLE helps. I'm tired and just would like back what I'm owed. Shame on RYANAIR - You have have cancelled my flight and still have not returned my money.0

Just to confirm what others have said: it is possible to get the system to work. Having unsuccessfully tried yesterday evening, by chance I woke up at 5am today and decided to give it a go via the Ryanair app. On the 3rd attempt I was successful, the application went off! So, it seems that "the early hours" are your best bet. Good luck!0

I think the ability to get a refund is about to be withdrawn in exchange for IOUs. So get in quickly. Personally I'm cancelling my trips as the likelihood of some of these package holiday firms staying afloat seems optimistic.
