I am just trying to be helpful to the OP. I can't imagine he is still reading this though.
I'm surprised any of us still are ... I guess we must be masochists.

So we are back to first oil change at 2 years and 26000 miles? I am just trying to be helpful to the OP. I can't imagine he is still reading this though.
    You're not though are you?

Your first post was - "You would want your oil changing. Everything else will just be checks. They won't bother with half of those at least. You've probably just paid for the stamp."

You then went on to put further doubt in the O/Ps mind with - "
A garage not servicing a car properly? Never. That's unheard of."

Which was wholly wrong to do.

The correct answer was - check with the garage and confirm if an oil change was actually scheduled.  Which they did and it was.

Its an entirely different scenario as to whether that particular car should have its oil changed at that miles.  The manufacturer has said no, its not required which with long life oil and a relatively low output engine, they are correct (given they know their engines).  An owner may wish to do get an interim oil change done, but its not a requirement

Most manufacturers only change the oil every 2 years dacia is probably the same  good or bad is another matter its designed to make ownership costs lower
For point of clarity most manufacturers do not operate two yearly oil changes.
Renault specify 2 yearly oil changes for some engines. Dacia (Renault engines) may well be the same.

Renault engine.  Same with my Mk3 Megane 1.6 VVTi - 10yrs old this year on biennial oil changes and no problems so far.

For the price of it id get a oil change regardless, even if it was at a fast fit place.
