Thanks Panda Paws, hope it does work out after all this, didn't get anything in the post today, fingers crossed for monday.
You've actually helped me, because I'd never heard of portable mortgages until I read your thread a while back, I know yours didn't work out that way, but might go down that route, when we change our mortgage in May.
Glad it's going alright for you now, hopefully the only sleepless nights you'll be having soon will be due to your new baby boy!:T when he arrives...........Comping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Kizzy - that sounds great, I hope it all works out for you.
Just a quickie from me, have paid off another £130 from my Egg credit card.
Am hopeful to have ditched my Egg card by the time my end of March/beginning of April payments go through, can throw everything at final card after that and hope to clear it in about 6 or 7 months - watch this space.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Hi everyone, still no letter regarding ISA amount:mad: have saved £130 this week, would normally have paid it off my LLoyds card, but waiting to see if ISA letter comes through then use that money to clear all my cards ( if it covers it ) mind you, if it takes this long to just send a letter with the amount in the ISA, I hate to think how long it will be to send the cheque! I may just pay it off the card & at least I'll get a little bit of satisfaction from seeing the amount go down!

Just popping in to say hi to everyone, no update from me as yet, have had quite a few expenses this month, but at least i've paid them with cash rather than sticking them on the credit card. Everyone is doing really well.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Paid £130 off the lloyds card today.
Today I went for an interview for a lunchtime school caterer & got the job!! I start Thursday..... can't believe it, not great money, but better than nothing & it gets me back into the workforce after having kids & fits in with schooltime.
Also ISA amount came through, was £12,180 in October now after paying another £582 in it's only £12,208!! but I really don't care, as it still means I only have to pay another £623 & I will be debt free, sent off the letter to cash it in today I used a 1st class stamp too! not very DFW but I want it to hurry up:p I can't believe my luck lately, let's hope a bit will rub off on to some of you too!!:TComping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner
