Hi all.
Ive just found that I had a whole £6.12 in a betting site. They are doing an offer of a free £10 bet when you bet £5 for customers so Ive got some tips and put my bet on. If I win it will be £60ish. Not holding my breath though. But I have put £100 on a credit card today and my mate is coming to visit and my OH has given her my post to bring over so I can finally sort some stuff out and get some money back for things.
Keep up the good work.

Hi everyone,
have got my final figure for the ISA that is going to pay my debt off & it's gone down again, since last week I've lost another £132!! glad I've cashed it in, at this rate it will be worthless.
so I did have an extra £632 to pay this month to clear my debt, now it's £764:mad: have paid £280 of this so £484 to pay by 27th May - my debt free date:T shame though as the additional money was to go towards starting some savings:o & the ISA is worth less than it was 6 months ago & I've paid an extra £600 in since then:mad:
Keep it up everyone, you're doing well:TComping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner

Hi,
Have taken a deep breath and paid £500 off MBNA in addition to normal payments on other cards. Did this last month and was worried we wouldn't manage, but we did.:j I am off work for 2 weeks now so it might be a bit more difficult this month - need to find as many free things to do as i can. Will spend a few days sorting out the loft and hopefully find a few things worth Ebaying.0 -
hi all
i've slowed down on this challenge a little recently. I'm finding the discipline thing a bit tough and i don't want to go without things like having my hair highlighted, going away for easter weekend and going to V this summer. If I had the willpower to do without these things I would be about £700 better off. It's a fine line between being dedicated to becoming debt free and continuing to live and i know a lot of you are much more disciplined than me.
Got myself back on track today with lots of quidco clicks and pigsback clicks. also got a cashback credit card so that will help with the quest for free money.
due to all the luxuries i've allowed myself, i'll prob be able to through about £200 against the debt this month rather than the £500 i was planning, but its all a step in the right direction i suppose.
hope everyone is well and looking forward to seeing those new totals after payday.GC: Jan £118.67/£175
Owed to Mum - £1,487/£6,400
Overdraft - [STRIKE]£1,391[/STRIKE]

Happychick, you are doing really well and its important to enjoy life and do some things within reason. you only get one shot at life so you need to create that balance between having fun and getting yourself out of debt, otherwise you can end up falling off the wagon by being too disciplined.
I also have slowed down on this challenge, its a little sad not seeing my total change, but then i know that quite a bit of the money i have paid out this month is for my new business which i will be setting up over the next few months and in the end should bring me in more money. A lot of the things i am currently working on are long term plans that will make me more money either now or in the next few years, so although my total isn't changing much, i know its worth it for the results i will see in the next few years.
Hope everyone else is getting on fine.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Happy chick, don't worry, you have to have a bit of a life, or you'll just give up.
I really have had to be diciplined to get mine down as I know my Hubby's wages go down in July & my fixed rate mortgage ends soon after:mad:
Even being diciplined, I still have my hair done every couple of months, I just go to a training school as it's cheaper.
Nothing for me to update at the moment, should be able to update Wednesday:DComping again - wins so far : 2 V festival tix, 2 NFL tix, 6 bottles of wine, personalised hand soap, Aussie miracle conditioner
